Chapter 375: Shiro Masakatsu vs Izaya Orihara/Kiyotaka Ayanokouji vs Gin

3rd person POV

Dazai and Fyodor continue their conversation as the battles unfold.

Dazai: Hehehe!

Fyodor: What's so funny, Dazai-kun?

Dazai: Ohh it's just that I was wondering. How are your pawns doing now?

Fyodor: Hmm?

Dazai: It seems like they're falling like flies as we speak.

Fyodor: Is that so?

Dazai: It sounds like you've underestimated my new allies. A shame, isn't it? You have all their info and yet the thing you can never account for is their constant growth. Progress can be unquantifiable even for me. The more you improve, the more difficult it is to compare their current strength to the strength you thought they have.

Fyodor: I suppose there is some truth to that. However, they still need to stop two certain individuals on this ship.

Dazai: I'm curious though. The pawns you've brought out for this operation. One of them is oddly familiar.

Fyodor: I take it you've heard of the Black Organization?

Dazai: *Sigh* I don't need you to read my mind but yes. I've heard of them but the question is. Why are they working for you?

Fyodor: Shhhh!

He said as he puts a finger near his lips.

Fyodor: That's a secret, Dazai-kun.

Dazai: ...

Fyodor: It wouldn't be a mystery if I told you now, would it?

Dazai: What about that other pawn you have? The former actor himself?

Fyodor: Ahh so you've done your homework on him too. Kamiki-san is merely a puppet like the rest. Though his role is already over by this point, I allow him to do whatever he wants after I gave him my command.

Dazai: The murders.

Fyodor: Exactly, and as we speak. Kamiki-san is on his way to killing his own daughter.

Dazai just glares at Fyodor upon hearing that.

Fyodor: The sacrifice of children isn't new. Abraham had thoughts of sacrificing his own blood Isaac when God tested his faith but didn't pull it through to the end. In Kamiki-san's case though. That sacrifice is inevitable.

Dazai: You really have everything figured out, don't you?

Fyodor just smirks in front of Dazai's face.

Dazai: We won't let you get another Calamity weapon.

Fyodor: You can't stop fate. The stars do not align for you, but the final performance is about to begin.

Ayanokouji and Kurumi are running straight to the storage area where the Calamity weapon resides.

Kurumi: Don't run too fast! 

Ayanokouji: I apologize but we need to get there quickly. 

Kurumi: I know that but Kiyotaka-kun, I can't run as fast as you!
