"Ready?" I asked as we lined up our cars on the road. Ara gave me a thumbs up, and I took it as a sign to roll up my window and start the engine of my car.

I was the first one to drive off, and my friends followed suit in their own cars. I opened the stereo and played some music as we made our way.

Sa daan ay nasilayan ko pa ang isang malaking billboard kung saan makikita ang hitsura hindi lamang ni Jezelle Savannah Ybañez, kundi maging ang hitsura na rin ng nag-iisang Hyacinth Celeste Montgomery. Pareho silang model and Ambassador ng SERIO.

May naka sulat sa billboard na welcome to the Philippines yata, ewan, nadaanan ko lang naman. Saka mabilis ang patakbo ko so ilang segundo ko lang iyon nasilayan.

SERIO's face has always been Hyacinth, kapag pupunta ka sa store ng SERIO ay makikita mo ang mga poster ng babaeng iyon. Hindi naman nakapagtatakha dahil hindi lang naman niya pag-mamay-ari iyon, talagang maganda din siyang maging model ng brand nila.

Arriving at CUI, I was puzzled when a group of students gathered at the Academic Building, pag park namin ng mga kotse namin ay agad akong lumabas para makausap ang mga kaibigan ako.

"Anong meron doon?" Tanong ko agad. Medyo hindi ko pa makita ng maayos kung sino iyong pinalilibutan nila dahil sa ang lalaki ng mga ulo nila.

Oo na, malabo na ang mata ko. Palusot lang iyong malalaki ang ulo. Tsk!

"I couldn't see them clearly, but I'm sure one of them is hella famous and rich," Dwayne remarked, catching my attention.

"Richer than me?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Judge for yourself," he said, pointing in a certain direction. I followed his gaze and my eyes widened in shock when I saw a blue YNGARD Al Cielo Droptail. I couldn't help but swallow hard, feeling a bit less confident.

That's my dream car na afford namin pero hindi ko mabili dahil mahal and I feel like wasting my money over the car. Char! Akala mo ay walang collection's ng cars and bikes sa villa e.

"Dito na tayo magkakahiwalay, I'll head to our room na." Pagpapaalam ni Dwayne kasama ang kanyang boyfriend. He's a law student kasi saka iyong boyfriend niya. I'm an ACM student and so is Ara, samantalang ito namang si Bain ay Pilot Student.

"Kita nalang tayo mamaya sa Cafeteria, aligned naman ang vacant natin, right?"

"Yeap, let's go na, Ara." pag-aya ko kay Ara.

Lumihis naman kami ng landas sa mga taong nagtitipon-tipon dahil ayaw kong makipagsiksikan.

"Sino kaya yun? Grabe 'yong kotse ah, sa panaginip ko lang 'yon nakikita." Sambit ni Ara as we head to our school room. I'm curious as well since that's my first time seeing that car in person.

For sure foreigner na naman ito. Well, Cornell University is for International students, iyong mga may lahing hindi marunong mag tagalog, dito pumapasok.
