50 - The stars love were crazy
Hyacinth's POV
Love really isn't just a fleeting feeling.
Love is something more.
It can make you forget about every problem you have in this world.
When you're in love, even the heaviest burdens seem lighter, and the darkest days become brighter.
It's like a warm, enveloping blanket that shields you from the harsh realities of life.
Love can make you dance in the middle of the night as you think about spending more time with the person you love once the sun rises.
This thought alone can bring a smile to your face and a spring to your step, no matter the time or place.
It can make you feel such a thrilling sensation that you question whether you're still okay or need to go to the hospital.
The rush of emotions, the pounding heart, and the butterflies in your stomach all blend into a symphony of feelings that are both exhilarating and overwhelming.
Love is fun.
More like loving someone is fun.
The joy of discovering new things about your partner, the laughter shared over inside jokes, and the warmth of simply being in each other's presence make every moment worthwhile.
But happiness seems to elude me. Because it feels like destiny is forcibly keeping happiness away from me.
It's as if an invisible force is constantly pushing me away from the very thing that brings me joy.
The universe seems to conspire against us, placing obstacles in our path and testing the strength of our bond.
"Then she wanted me to study in the Philippines but I don't want to, baby. I don't want to leave you." There she is, Cepheus, my girlfriend, crying on my shoulder as she talks about living in the Philippines with her father.
Her tears are a testament to the depth of her love and the pain of being forced to choose between her dreams and our relationship.
She just graduated from Upper Secondary School. Her father wanted her to study at their school, which he owns, but she didn't want to because she was afraid I'd be sad if she left me.
The thought of being separated from each other is unbearable, and the uncertainty of our future together looms over us like a dark cloud.
She's such a crybaby.
Her vulnerability only endears her to me more, and I find myself wanting to protect her from all the pain and sorrow.
"You were only away from me for a week, and I almost went crazy thinking about you. What more if I had to live far away? I'd constantly worry if you're okay, if you're sick, or if you've eaten. Who's going to feed you, with your pickiness? Who will take care of you?" I didn't know whether to feel insulted or happy because she was still thinking about me.
Her concern for my well-being, even in the midst of her own struggles, touches my heart deeply.
"Just go with him and chase your dream," I murmured, pushing her away a bit and wiping her tears with my thumb.
