55 - The Stars date

Cephues POV

"Baby? Where are you?"

"Huh? Oh, my room!!" Sigaw ko saka nagmadaling nagtago ng gamit na hindi dapat pwedeng makita ni Hya.

Habang nagtatago pa nga ay hindi ko malaman kung saan ba ilalagay lahat ng gamit ko kaya inilagay ko nalang sa ilalim ng kama ang lahat ng ito.

Sakto namang bumukas ang pintuan at nagpakita si Hya na may dalang isang box ng strawberry na mukhang kakukuha niya lamang sa fridge namin.

"Is there anything you need?" I asked, acting all innocent kahit medyo kinabahan ako dahil muntik na niya akong mahuli.

"Nothing, you were just out of my sight, I thought you left without saying anything"

"Is it really nothing? Because you have a box of strawberry in your hand and we both know you preferred to eat peaches." Ngumiti naman siya sa sinabi ko at umupo sa edge ng bed.

She tapped the space beside her and I crawled down like a kid saka umupo sa tabi niya.

Her smiles widened even more, I saw her picked up a strawberry and tried feeding me. Kumunot ang noo ko pero tinaggap ko ito.

"It's sweet, right?"

"Yeah... Why are you feeding me?" Tanong ko naman habang nakatitig sa kanya at paulit-ulit na tumatango.

She took a bite on the strawberry na kinagatan ko.

"I fed you with the fruit you want to make up for almost killing you." Napangiti naman ako sa sinabi niya.

"Didn't I tell you to stop blaming yourself anymore, it's my fault, not yours." Pagpapaalala ko naman sa kanya. Talaga kasing hindi pa niya malimutan ang nangyari the day before yesterday e.

"Still... Nevermind, do you want to go out?" She fed me the strawberry again and as I took a bite of it, mas tumaas pa ang kilay ko.

"Where?"

"I don't know... Maybe have fun on the arcade?" My eyes softened once I get a grasp of what she's trying to say.

"All alone?" Syempre mang-aasar din ako, hindi ako magpapatalo.

She rolled her eyes at saka sinupalpal sa bibig ko iyong halos 8cm na strawberry. Minsan nakaka miss din noong may amnesia ako, she's gentle with me e.

"Then go with someone" she looked away with a pout and started eating. Ngumiti ako ng malawak at walang pasabing hinalikan siya sa pisngi.

Nagulat siya kaya tumingin siya sa akin nang bumibilog ang mga mata. I pointed the strawberry in her hand and signaled her to feed me.

Taas kilay naman niyang inangat iyong isang maliit na strawberry, I thought she was going to feed me but she didn't, instead, she ate it.
