Cepheus POV

Flashback

"Why do you still obey your father?" I asked, hoping she'll answer me. I've always been curious bakit sunod-sunuran siya sa kanyang ama.

"I'm sorry! Did I make you feel uncomfortable-" She pressed her finger to my lips and shut me up, nakaramdam pa ako ng hiya kaya nag-init ang mukha ko.

"Because he told me that I'm only adopted. That he bought me from a doctor who planned to throw me away somewhere," She said in a low voice, kitang kita ko sa mga mata niya na masakit iyon para sa kanya.

I gently held her hand and squeezed it slightly, wanting to give her some comfort since ako rin naman ang nag bring up ng topic.

"I have to build an image that would convince everyone that I'm still worthy of being the young lady even though I'm only adopted," she whispered, mas na guilty tuloy ako.

"You are worth being called Young Lady Montgomery. Because you have something in you that your father lacks," sambit ko saka ay patuloy na sinubukang pagaanin ang loob niya.

So I made my research.

Gusto kong hanapin ang tunay niyang magulang and perhaps sent her to their care. If they turns out to be poor then I'll be their financial support. Basta ang gusto ko lang ay mailayo siya sa malupit niyang ama.

"Ano ba yan, kung wala ka sa piling ng jowa mo ang occupied mo naman sa phone mo." I was at school with Arsianna, she's been my friend since 1st grader year namin dito sa Academy.

She's sweet and kind na may pagka tsundere. She's every man's dream woman.

"May inaaral lang, sorry." Ngumiti ako sa kanya nang umupo siya sa tabi ko. Inirapan naman niya ako, napaka attitude talaga!!

Sa aming dalawa, siya ang ma-attitude, she's the queen bee after all.

"Are you... Are you really serious about dating someone like that Montgomery?" Tanong naman niya na nakapukaw ng atensyon ko.

"Yes... Is there sny problem?" I asked genuinely.

"It didn't cross your mind na baka naging kayo lang dahil naawa siya sayo at 2 years ka ng nanliligaw?" Saad ni Arsianna. Actually, it did cross my mind but I shrugged it off.

"It did but at some point I just set that thought aside. All I want is to shower her with love, it's okay kung hindi niya iyon ibabalik. For me, she deserves another world were happiness is the only emotion that exists. God just created me to be one of those few people who'll always be by her side" Hyacinth's face flashes before my eyes.

Those emerald eyes never fails to make my heart skipped a beat. Yes, mata pa lang niya kinikilig na ako. Napaka ganda kasi nito, it reminds me of my dad.
