59 - The stars that shines

I lived a life where everything is twisted.

My past? Twisted.

My indentity? Twisted.

My story? Twisted.

My future? Twisted.

The people around me? They either the plot twist or just a character with a bit significance.

Everything I have and work for will go for both because my life is twisted.

Instead of going with the flow, I decided to take another path. Because I can't live a lift like this, not when I want to live a life with the person I cherished the most.

"Dad... Ang ganda ng mga mata mo 'no"

"Huh? Oh, thank you, sweetie." Ngumiti siya sa akin, sinulyapan ako ng ilang saglit bago bumalik muli sa kanyang ginagawa. He's cooking something dahil bumisita ako sa kanya dito sa main Salvatore Villa namin.

It was huge, empty, and brimming with sorrow yet I'm the only one who's feeling this way. I masked it with my smile though.

"Bakit hindi ko yan namana sa'yo, nakakatampo na iyang genes mo." I pouted and he giggled, it was sarcastic yet he fails to take the hint as he was either to dumb to realize it or just acting... again.

"You look chinita naman, ayaw mo ba no'n?"

"Ayoko... Gusto ko mestiza din like half filipino, half American, and half korean at the same time." Throwing another hint again, his face remained smiling.

Too dumb to realize.

"Well, I'm a half american and half filipino."

"And my mom is a korean"

"Yes" tinuon ko ang shoulder ko sa countertop saka nagpangalumbaba.

"Do you have a first love ba before you met my mother?" Tanong ko na umaaktong may interest sa topic na ako din ang nagdala.

Nawala ang ngiti niya ng mas mabilis pa kay flash, napangisi naman ako. Akala niya siguro ay hindi ko iyon nakita kaya mabilis din siyang nagsuot ng isang pekeng ngiti.

"I have... And it didn't end well."

"Anong nangyari?"

"Well... It didn't work, so we end things peacefully." Napaka hilig din nito mag kwento ng sobrang summarize e, kaya hindi ko naalala ang mga nakaraan ko, he took everything so seriously and take it as his secret.

I hate it...

"It didn't end well because of society or someone made a mistake?" Taas kilay kong tanong and that question was the hint of what I'm trying to dig on.
