Hunter's Dream

Izuku found himself laying down in a field of flowers, the moon was high up in the sky illuminating his surroundings. He sat up and looked around, nothing seemed to change in this plain of existence except the moon which was nearly blood red.

Hunter: We meet again.

Said the Hunter as he walked up behind him with two sets of chairs, he set them down and gestured for him to  take a seat which he did. They sat in comfortable silence while observing the moon, a large section of it was shaded in red while leaving the white part unaffected but that would change soon.

Izuku: Care to explain why am I here?

Hunter: You died.

Izuku: I know but I'm more curious on how I came back?

Hunter: Its mostly due to your 'quirks' and a piece of my soul that was merged with yours, bringing life to that form you took.

Izuku: What form?

Hunter: Seems like you dont remember, well let me show you.

He stood up and walked towards the workshop leaving Izuku to try to remember what form he was talking about. A minute later he came back with a large painting of a being made out of light, their body was covered in white cloths exposing only the mouth and nose, on its back was an extremely large golden halo that acted as its wings.

When looking at the painting Izuku felt something inside of him awaken, the Hunter looked on to see a silhouette of the being manifest itself behind Izuku

When looking at the painting Izuku felt something inside of him awaken, the Hunter looked on to see a silhouette of the being manifest itself behind Izuku. Izuku looked back at the beings face to see it slightly smiling at him, he looked closer to see freckles that were shaped as diamonds on either side of its cheeks.

Izuku: This being is me?

Hunter: It appears so.

Izuku: But how, what do I even call this?

Hunter: For what you may call it is up to you but for you to know more than you would have to talk to your father since he might know the title "King Of Quirks".

Izuku: They kept on calling me that when they saw me, as if I was their god or something.

Hunter: There is some truth to that, but I only know half of the true while your father knows the other.

Izuku: What truth is that?

Hunter: The King Of Quirks once lived during my time.

Izuku: But, I thought quirks at the time were unrefined.

Hunter: They were, magic and curses was the main source of power during the plague of beasts but later devolved into 'Quirks' of various kinds. The King of my time went by the title "King Of Curses".
