As requested by AngrySwan! Fem Y/N.

Y/N flapped her wings, her blonde hair billowing in the wind as she flew with the other Grasshoppers to the ant hill. They stopped every year to have a feast provided to them by the ants that slaved away for them, and it was always a blast.

Molt flew alongside her lopsidedly, shedding his skin on the grasshoppers behind them. "Oh boy I bet they're gonna have lots of seeds and berries and crumbs...."

Y/N chuckled and shook her head. Molt was a kind bug, but also a daft one. But she didn't care for him too much... at least, not as much as she cared for Molt's brother... Hopper.

She and Hopper had been dating for quite a while, and there was talk that she would become his wife soon, although she didn't believe it. Hopper didn't seem like much of a family bug, let alone one that would want a super serious relationship. Still, this was on her mind as she picked up her speed to fly at the head of the swarm with Hopper.

When he noticed her flying steadily beside him, Hopper smirked. "Y/N, my love, we're almost there, can you see the tree?" he asked, pointing ahead of them to where the familiar maple tree stood on the island in the middle of the dried-up riverbed. The leaves were beginning to fall to the ground, signalling that Winter was almost near, and that meant the Grasshoppers needed to stock up on all the food that they could in order to survive.

"Let's dive, everyone!" Hopper called out to the group, taking Y/N's hand as he stooped low and fast to the island.

As Y/N and Hopper led the swarm down to the ant hill, the bustling activity of the ants below came into sharper focus. The ants, upon seeing the approach of the grasshoppers, hurriedly organized themselves into neat lines, each carrying a variety of food items. The air buzzed with the anticipation of the annual feast, a long-standing tradition that brought both species together, albeit under the dominance of the grasshoppers.

The grasshoppers landed gracefully, their wings folding back as they settled on the ground. Y/N's blonde hair continued to billow slightly, caught in the remnants of the wind. She glanced around, noting the anxious expressions on the ants' faces as they began to lay out the feast. Despite the underlying tension, the atmosphere was electric with excitement from the grasshoppers. This feast was as much a spectacle for the grasshoppers as it was a demonstration of their power over the ants.

Molt landed with a thud beside Y/N, shaking off more remnants of his shed skin. "Wow, look at all the food they've got ready for us!" he exclaimed, his eyes wide with delight. His enthusiasm was infectious, and Y/N couldn't help but smile at his childlike wonder.

Hopper, ever the charismatic leader, strode forward, his presence commanding attention. "Alright, everyone," he called out, his voice carrying over the crowd. "It looks like our feast is ready. Let's get started!"

The ants worked tirelessly, bringing out an impressive array of seeds, berries, crumbs, and other delectable morsels. They arranged the food meticulously, creating a grand display that stretched across the ant hill. The grasshoppers watched with eager eyes, their mouths watering at the sight of the abundance laid out before them.

Y/N stood close to Hopper, her hand brushing against his. He turned to her, a mischievous glint in his eye. "What do you think, my love? Quite the spread, isn't it?"

She nodded, admiring the variety and the sheer volume of food. "It's amazing. The ants have really outdone themselves this year."

As the ants completed their setup, they stepped back, allowing the grasshoppers to survey their work. The feast was a testament to the ants' hard work and their desire to appease their grasshopper overlords. The anticipation in the air was palpable, and the grasshoppers could hardly contain their excitement.

"Dig in!" Hopper declared, leading the charge. The grasshoppers swarmed the feast, their enthusiasm infectious as they began to devour the food. Y/N stayed close to Hopper, sharing bites of berries and seeds as they enjoyed the moment together.

The feast quickly turned into a celebration, with grasshoppers laughing, dancing, and singing as they indulged in the plentiful food. The ants, having fulfilled their duty, watched from the sidelines, their expressions a mix of relief and exhaustion.

Molt, ever the life of the party, was at the centre of the festivities. He danced clumsily, his movements causing fits of laughter among the other grasshoppers. "This is the best feast ever!" he proclaimed, his mouth full of crumbs.

Y/N and Hopper shared a knowing look, both amused and endeared by Molt's antics. Despite his clumsiness, Molt's joy really was infectious, adding to the overall merriment of the occasion.

As the feast continued, Y/N found herself growing more and more comfortable in Hopper's presence. Their relationship had always been strong, but there was something about this night that made her feel closer to him than ever before. The warmth of his touch, the sound of his laughter—it all made her heart swell with affection.

As the evening progressed, the ants, in a show of respect and submission, began constructing a makeshift throne for Hopper. Using twigs, leaves, and other materials, they crafted a seat fit for their ruler. Once complete, Hopper was guided to the throne, his regal demeanour commanding attention.

He sat down, and with a gentle tug, he pulled Y/N onto his lap. The gesture was intimate, a clear display of their bond. "Everyone, listen up!" Hopper called out, his voice strong and authoritative. The grasshoppers fell silent, their attention focused on their leader.

"We've had many feasts like this one," Hopper began, his eyes scanning the crowd. "But tonight is special. Tonight, I want to share something important with all of you."

Y/N felt her heart race as Hopper's grip on her tightened slightly. She had no idea what he was planning, but the intensity in his voice told her it was something significant.

Hopper took a deep breath, his eyes locking onto Y/N's. "Y/N, from the moment we met, you've been my partner, my confidant, and my greatest source of strength. You've stood by me through thick and thin, and I can't imagine my life without you."

Tears welled up in Y/N's eyes as Hopper continued. "I want you to be more than just my partner. I want you to be my queen. Y/N, will you marry me and be the Queen of the Hill?"

Hopper's words hung in the air and everyone, ants and grasshoppers alike, awaited Y/N's answer with bated breath. Y/N herself could barely speak, her surprise flooding her. But as she gazed into Hopper's sincere eyes, she found her voice.

"Yes!" she exclaimed, throwing her arms around Hopper's neck and kissing him deeply, straddling him on the throne.

The other grasshoppers cheered and the ants looked even more in despair, realising now that they would have two powerful tyrants leading the grasshoppers, making their reign even more brutal.

But Y/N didn't care about that at the moment. All she cared about was Hopper. She broke away from the kiss but remained on his lap, resting her head on his shoulders as they looked up at the emerging stars.

Hopper kissed the top of her head and held her even tighter against him. "Your reign will be great, my queen, I'll make sure of it..."
