Charlie sighed as she approached the Midnight Minx club, being dragged along my Angel Dust. "Come on babes, it'll be good for ya," he said, pulling Charlie inside. "You need to let loose a little. Maybe blindly hook up for the night."
Charlie flushed red and shook her head. "Haha, no no no no no no no, I really don't think that's going to happen or be necessary." She laughed nervously, glancing around at all the burlesque figures that were crowding the club. "Wow! This is... wow!"
"Eh, calm down," Angel said rolling his eyes playfully and nudging Charlie. "You'll really like the lead performer tonight. Her name is Pyra, because damn, does she light up that stage!" He chuckled.
Charlie tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. "Haha, yeah... sounds great..." she said quietly, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear as she glanced around uncomfortably. "So... when does the show start?" she asked, hoping that she might have time to make up an excuse to leave beforehand.
But almost immediately after she asked her question, the lights dimmed and the crowded club seemed to go silent. Angel bounced on his feet. "Oooh, it's startin', it's startin'!"
Charlie couldn't help but watch as the curtain on the stage drew back ever so slightly, revealing a bare leg as a sultry song began to play over the speakers. Then the curtain drew back more, and out stepped a beautiful dancer, dressed in a hot pink and black costume with a flame pattern.

Angel whistled and pumped his fist. "Yeah! Slay Pyra, slay!" he called out. "She and I are pretty good friends, we met through Val..." he trailed off as he looked down, realising Charlie was staring, wide-eyed at the dancer on stage. "Hey... Charlie?"
As Charlie watched Pyra move on stage, running her hands up and down her perfect body, pulling at the waistline of her skirt teasingly, she recognised the dancer instantly. "That's Y/N," she whispered.
Angel's face brightened when she said Pyra's real name. "Oh! So ya know her!"
Charlie nodded, swallowing thickly. "I do. She's my ex."
"Oh..." Angel's excitement quickly turned to disappointment. "Hey, Charlie, I'm sorry, I didn't know. We can leave if you want."
"No," Charlie murmured, stepping closer to the stage, unable to take her eyes off of Y/N and the beautiful, artistic movements she was making with her body. The way she so effortlessly teased the crowd, flashing her ass or running her hands under her top... it brought back so many memories for Charlie, memories of their relationship before they inevitably broke up because Y/N wanted to become a stripper.
Charlie, while usually supportive, felt a bit of possessiveness and protectiveness over Y/N, not wanting anybody to see her in such an intimate manner, and hadn't wanted Y/N to take that path. But that had been a while ago. And now, as Charlie was enthralled by Y/N, she was regretting her actions. She shouldn't have driven Y/N away.
