My second book in my imagines collection. With characters from all fandoms, ranging from Satoru Gojo to Violet Baudelaire, and more! (With stories for both male and female readers!)
Y/N stood in front of the full-length mirror in Johnny's room at the Baxter Building, smoothing down her dress for what felt like the hundredth time. The emerald green silk caught the late afternoon light streaming through the window, making the fabric shimmer like liquid. She'd chosen it specifically for today, wanting to make a good impression at the superhero Thanksgiving dinner – though she knew that no matter what she wore, Susan Storm-Richards would find something to criticize.

"You look perfect," Johnny's voice came from behind her, warm and reassuring as always. He wrapped his arms around her waist, resting his chin on her shoulder. His natural body temperature, always slightly elevated due to his powers, provided a comforting warmth against her back. "Stop worrying."
"Easy for you to say," Y/N replied, leaning back against him. "You're not the one your sister thinks isn't good enough."
Johnny turned her around to face him, his blue eyes fierce with conviction. "Sue's opinion doesn't matter. Mine does. And I say you're amazing." He pressed a quick kiss to her forehead, careful not to mess up her carefully applied makeup. "Besides, we've got backup today. Tony's bringing some ridiculously expensive wine, and Thor promised to tell embarrassing stories about everyone. Including Sue."
Y/N couldn't help but laugh, some of her tension easing. "I still can't believe you guys invited the Guardians too. Isn't Rocket banned from the building after last time?"
"Technically, yes. But it's Thanksgiving, and Reed said we should extend the olive branch. Though he did make Rocket promise not to 'upgrade' any of the kitchen appliances this time."
The sound of voices and laughter drifting up from the common area signalled that guests were starting to arrive. Y/N's stomach tightened with anxiety again, but Johnny squeezed her hand reassuringly.
"Ready to face the superpower crowd?" he asked with that trademark Johnny Storm grin that had first made her fall for him.
"As ready as I'll ever be."

The scene that greeted them in the common area was exactly as chaotic as one might expect when gathering Earth's mightiest heroes (and a few interstellar ones) for a holiday dinner. Tony Stark was arguing with Reed Richards about something involving quantum mechanics while Bruce Banner tried to mediate. Thor had already opened one of the wine bottles and was regaling a laughing Natasha Romanoff with what appeared to be a particularly animated story. Peter Quill was showing Peter Parker some kind of alien tech while Rocket looked on with obvious disdain. Groot had stationed himself near the snack table, occasionally extending a branch to sample the appetizers.
"Johnny! Y/N!" Ben Grimm's gravelly voice boomed across the room. "About time you two joined the party. These yahoos are already trying to take over my kitchen."
"It's technically my kitchen too, Ben," Johnny protested as they made their way over.
"Not when I'm cooking, it ain't. Y/N, please tell this hothead to stay away from my turkey. Last time he tried to 'help,' we ended up ordering Chinese food."
