As requested by ActTasLam! Male Y/N.
The red-lit haze of Hell hung heavy in the air as Y/N coiled his human body onto the therapist's chair. Despite being blind, he knew every creak, every sound that echoed in his clinic. His head seemed to bob like a snakes, listening intently to his client sitting across from him. Barbie Wire, the once-vibrant starlet now sunken by her drug addictions, sat slouched with her arms crossed, her fidgeting the only indication of life in her otherwise hollow gaze.
"Barbie," Y/N said gently, his deep voice soothing in the dimly lit room, "we've talked about this. Running from your problems won't help. You need to confront them."
Barbie huffed, crossing her arms tighter. "Easy for you to say. What do you know about losing everything?"
Y/N's head tilted slightly. Though Barbie couldn't see his eyes beneath the sunglasses, she could feel the weight of his gaze. His head stilled, signalling his attentiveness. "I know a lot about loss. More than you might think." His voice remained even, despite the memories bubbling beneath the surface—memories of someone he hadn't seen in 15 years.
Barbie's silence was the opening he needed. He leaned forward slightly, his human head moving gracefully. "I can't force you to change, Barbie. But the fact that you're here today means you're trying. And that's the first step."
She grumbled, her tough exterior still shielding her vulnerability, but a flicker of hope was there. Slowly, she unfolded her arms and sighed. "I guess...I guess I'll think about it."
"Good," Y/N replied, a rare smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "That's all I ask."
The session came to a close, and Barbie stood, her demeanour lighter than before. As she walked toward the door, Y/N called out, "Take care of yourself, Barbie. And if you need me, I'll be here."
Barbie nodded once, disappearing into the crimson streets of Pentagram City. Y/N leaned back in his chair, allowing the tension in his massive body to unwind. His human disguise melted away, revealing his true form—a colossal two-headed boa constrictor with scales shimmering in hues reminiscent of celestial Seraphim. He sighed, blind yet attuned to every vibration around him.
Just as he was about to relax, his phone buzzed. He coiled up tighter, reaching for the device. The name "Charlie" flashed on the screen, and his phone announced it so he could tell who it was. His hearts skipped a beat as he answered.
"Y/N! Hi!" Charlie's cheerful voice rang through. "I'm so glad I caught you. I really need some help with the hotel."
Y/N chuckled softly, a familiar warmth creeping into his chest. "What's going on, Charlie? Who's causing trouble this time?"
"Oh, you know," she said, her voice laced with a little stress. "The usual chaos. We've got some new guests, and I could really use your expertise. Could you come by?"
Y/N paused for a moment, a feeling of curiosity overtaking him. "New guests? Who's staying at the hotel?"
Charlie hesitated for a second before rattling off a few names. Then, she said the one name that made Y/N's hearts stop.
"...Sir Pentious."
For the first time in years, Y/N was utterly silent. His memories of Sir Pentious, his eccentric lover, flooded his mind. It had been fifteen years since they had last seen each other, and the pain of their separation still clung to him like a second skin.
"You said...Pentious?" he asked, both heads focusing on the name.
"Yes," Charlie replied softly. "I know it's been a long time since you two...saw each other. But, well, I thought you'd want to know."
