The Los Angeles sun painted everything in warm golden hues as Bill Kaulitz made his way through the entrance of the Silver Lake Dog Park. His golden labrador retriever, Spinee, pulled eagerly at the leash, tail wagging with excitement at the prospect of running free with other dogs. Bill couldn't help but smile at his companion's enthusiasm, adjusting his oversized sunglasses as they walked through the gate.

"Alright, alright," he laughed, his German accent subtle but still present after years of living in LA. He unclipped Spinee's leash, watching as the dog bounded off towards the centre of the park. Bill followed at a leisurely pace, his tall frame dressed casually in black skinny jeans and a loose-fitting designer t-shirt, his dark hair styled in its usual perfect disarray.

On the other side of the park, Y/N was throwing a tennis ball for her golden retriever, Luna. Her hair was pulled back in a messy bun, and she wore comfortable leggings and an oversized sweater, not particularly concerned about her appearance for a simple trip to the dog park. Luna had been cooped up all week while Y/N worked on a deadline for her graphic design project, and they both needed this outdoor time.

She was about to throw the ball again when a golden lab came bounding over, playfully nudging Luna with its nose. Y/N smiled as the two dogs immediately hit it off, chasing each other in circles.

"I'm so sorry," came a voice with a slight accent. "Spinee gets a bit excited around other dogs."

Y/N looked up to see Bill Kaulitz standing there, and while her inner teenager (who had definitely owned multiple Tokio Hotel posters) was screaming, her external demeanour remained calm and friendly. "No worries at all! Luna loves making new friends. I'm Y/N."

Bill seemed to relax slightly when she didn't make a big deal about who he was. "I'm Bill," he said, extending his hand. "And that troublemaker over there is Spinee."

"Luna's the spazzy one," Y/N replied, shaking his hand with a warm smile. "Though I'm sure you figured that out."

They stood watching their dogs play together, falling into easy conversation about their pets. Bill was surprised and refreshed by how naturally Y/N treated him, asking about Spinee's age and favourite toys rather than his latest album or upcoming tours.

"She's beautiful," Y/N commented as Spinee returned to them, panting happily. She knelt down to pet the lab, who immediately rolled over for belly rubs.

"She's usually not this friendly with strangers," Bill observed, watching with interest as his typically cautious dog melted under Y/N's attention. "You must have a way with animals."

Y/N laughed, the sound genuine and unaffected. "I just treat them like the individuals they are. Dogs can tell when you're being genuine, you know?"

"Just like people," Bill replied softly, finding himself drawn to the way her eyes crinkled when she smiled. There was something refreshing about her presence – no pretence, no agenda, just authentic interaction.
