Inside, Pauline stood before a full-length mirror, her hands smoothing the flowing fabric of her dress. Her elegant gown shimmered with intricate beadwork that caught the light, and her dark hair was styled to perfection, a veil draped delicately over it. "Are you ready, Pauline?" asked one of her closest friends, Toadette, standing nearby with a bouquet in hand.
Pauline smiled softly, her voice steady despite the nervous flutter in her chest. "I've never been more ready for anything in my life."
Meanwhile, Y/N adjusted his tie for what felt like the hundredth time, standing in a room across the hall. The anticipation was almost too much to bear. He ran a hand through his hair and let out a deep breath, his reflection in the mirror showing a mix of excitement and nerves.
"You look sharp, Y/N," Mario said, clapping a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "You're going to knock her off her feet."
