The apartment was aglow with a cosy mix of magic and modernity. Floating candles danced above the rustic bookshelves, their light casting soft shadows against the walls. Artifacts from ancient mystical realms adorned the room, their presence balanced by contemporary furniture in warm, earthy tones. Y/N, dressed in a simple button-up shirt and jeans, poured tea into two ceramic mugs, the steam swirling like a tiny enchantment of its own.

Sue Storm sat cross-legged on his couch, her radiant blonde hair falling over one shoulder. She was dressed casually, her blue sweater draping over her frame with an effortless grace. She looked completely at home, her smile genuine and easy as they shared a laugh over some witty remark Y/N had made about the eccentricities of Doctor Strange.

"You're impossible," Sue said, shaking her head, her sapphire eyes sparkling with amusement.

"And yet," Y/N countered with a teasing grin, "you keep coming back."

"I do," she admitted softly, her voice taking on a tender edge. "You're a good kind of impossible."

Y/N carried the mugs over to the coffee table, setting one in front of her. He settled into the chair opposite her, resting his elbow on the armrest and his chin on his fist, studying her with a look of unabashed admiration.

"What?" Sue asked, feeling the weight of his gaze. A playful smile tugged at her lips.

"Just admiring the view," he said with a smirk.

Sue chuckled, shaking her head. "You're shameless."

"Completely," he agreed. "But it's hard not to be when the view is this stunning."

She rolled her eyes but couldn't hide the blush that crept into her cheeks. Moments like these had become her refuge. With Y/N, there was no pressure, no expectations she couldn't meet. He was her sanctuary, a world apart from the high-stakes drama of her life as a hero and her past with Reed.

"You know," she said, wrapping her hands around the warm mug, "you have this way of making me feel like the most important person in the world."

"That's because you are," he replied matter-of-factly, his voice steady and sincere. "At least, in my world."
