My second book in my imagines collection. With characters from all fandoms, ranging from Satoru Gojo to Violet Baudelaire, and more! (With stories for both male and female readers!)
The morning sun glinted off the Baxter Building as Y/N stood at the expansive windows of the Fantastic Four's headquarters, his dark eyes scanning the New York skyline. As Reed Richards' best friend and the team's unofficial strategist, he'd grown accustomed to the spectacular view, but it never failed to take his breath away. His reflection showed a man in his early thirties, dressed in a tailored navy suit that complemented his frame – not superhero attire, but professional enough to command respect in any room.

The soft whirr of the automatic doors pulled his attention away from the cityscape. Susan Storm walked in, her blonde hair catching the sunlight as she moved with practised grace. She was wearing her blue Fantastic Four uniform, a sight that still made Y/N's heart skip a beat, even after all these years of working together.
"Y/N," she said, a warm smile spreading across her face. "I'm glad you're here early. We need to talk."
He turned to face her fully, noting the slight crease between her eyebrows that usually indicated concern. "What's wrong, Sue?"
She approached, holding up a tablet. "Remember those energy signatures Reed's been tracking? We've got a match in upper Manhattan. The team's stretched thin right now – Johnny's in Los Angeles, Ben's handling something in the Negative Zone with Reed, and..." She paused, biting her lower lip. "I could use your help on this one."
Y/N's pulse quickened. It wasn't often that he got to work one-on-one with Susan in the field. Usually, his role involved staying behind, coordinating from the safety of the command centre. "Are you sure? I'm not exactly powered up like the rest of you."
Susan reached out, placing a hand on his arm. The contact sent a subtle shiver through him. "Y/N, you're being modest. Your strategic mind has saved us more times than I can count. Besides," she added with a playful glint in her eye, "sometimes invisibility and force fields aren't enough. I need someone who can think three steps ahead."
He couldn't help but grin. "Well, when you put it that way... What's the plan?"
For the next twenty minutes, they huddled over the holographic display table as Susan briefed him on the situation. The energy signature matched a type of technology that had been stolen from the Baxter Building months ago – experimental phase-shift devices that could potentially destabilize matter at a molecular level.
"If these fall into the wrong hands," Susan explained, her voice tense, "the results could be catastrophic."
Y/N studied the 3D map hovering before them, his mind already racing through scenarios. "The signature's coming from the old Oscorp warehouse district. Lots of abandoned buildings, minimal civilian presence." He traced a path through the hologram. "We could approach from the east, using the elevated train tracks as cover."
Susan nodded approvingly. "Good thinking. I can keep us invisible for most of the approach, but we'll need to be careful. We don't know who we're dealing with."
