The moon hung high in the inky sky, casting its silvery glow upon the snow-draped streets of Musutafu. The air was frigid, biting at the skin of anyone daring enough to venture outside, but Y/N didn't mind. Cold weather always had a calming effect on him. He trudged along the empty, frost-covered sidewalk, his hands buried in his coat pockets, the steam of his breath curling upward like tendrils of smoke. His mind wandered aimlessly as he absently toyed with his powers, conjuring faint, translucent petals of ice that fluttered into the air before dissolving.

For Y/N, nights like these were a reprieve from the duality of his existence. An antihero. Neither a saviour of justice nor an agent of chaos. He existed somewhere in between, drifting through life like the snowflakes that now fell lazily from the heavens. But tonight, something felt... off. A prickling sensation crept along the nape of his neck, as if unseen eyes were following his every step.

Little did he know, they were.

Himiko Toga had been watching him for weeks, hiding in the shadows, cloaked in darkness. Her infatuation with him had begun innocently enough—or as innocent as her brand of obsession could be. It started when she first witnessed his power: the crystalline beauty of his ice-like constructs paired with the detached charm he exuded. She had never met anyone like him. He wasn't a hero, yet he wasn't a villain. He was something more... ethereal. Perfect.

And she needed him.

She followed him relentlessly, studying him, memorizing his routines. She learned everything she could: where he went, what he liked, the way he walked, the way he smiled. Himiko revelled in the little details others might overlook. It wasn't just infatuation—it was devotion. She loved him. Deeply. Desperately. And tonight, she would finally make him hers.

Y/N stopped at a snow-covered park bench, brushing off the layer of frost before sitting down. The air was deathly quiet, save for the soft crunch of snow beneath his boots. His gaze drifted upward to the barren trees, their skeletal branches framing the sky like the veins of some giant, cosmic creature. He sighed, his breath misting in the cold air.

"You look so beautiful in the snow, Y/N," a voice purred from the shadows, soft and lilting like a lover's whisper.

Y/N's eyes narrowed, but his expression remained calm. "Who's there?" he asked, his voice even and unbothered, though the corners of his lips tugged upward in faint amusement.

Slowly, she emerged from the shadows, her blonde hair catching the moonlight, her golden eyes gleaming with something wild and unhinged. Himiko Toga. She was wearing her usual schoolgirl-inspired attire, her cheeks flushed pink from the cold—or perhaps from something more fervent.

"It's me," she said, taking a step closer. "Himiko. You've noticed me, haven't you? I've been watching you, Y/N. For so long."

He tilted his head, curiosity flickering in his eyes. "Is that so? And why would you do that?"

"Because I love you," she replied without hesitation, her voice trembling with raw, fervent emotion. "I love you more than anyone ever could. More than anyone ever will."

Y/N raised an eyebrow, a faint chuckle escaping his lips. "You love me, huh? That's bold. What makes you so sure?"

"I know everything about you," Himiko said, stepping closer still. Her boots crunched softly against the snow, her breath forming wisps in the freezing air. "I know you like the cold. I know you take these walks when you can't sleep. I know how you play with your powers when you're bored, like you're creating little works of art just for yourself." Her voice dropped to a whisper. "I know you're lonely, even if you'd never admit it."

Y/N leaned back against the bench, crossing one leg over the other. "You've done your homework," he remarked, a smirk playing at his lips. "But knowing things about me doesn't prove you love me. That just proves you're a good stalker."

Her eyes gleamed with something dark and electric. "Then let me prove it," she said, her voice almost a growl.

Before he could respond, she lunged forward, closing the distance between them in an instant. Her hands gripped the lapels of his coat, pulling him to his feet, and then her lips crashed against his. The kiss was fierce, desperate, and unapologetically intense. It caught Y/N completely off guard. For a moment, he considered pulling away, but there was something intoxicating about her boldness, something electric in the way she pressed against him as if she could fuse their souls together by sheer force of will.

His initial shock gave way to intrigue, and then, to his own surprise, he melted into the kiss. His hands, which had been hanging limply by his sides, rose to rest lightly on her waist. Her lips were cold from the night air, but her fervour burned like a wildfire. He could feel her trembling—not from fear, but from the sheer intensity of her emotions.

When they finally broke apart, both of them were breathless, their faces mere inches apart. Himiko's cheeks were flushed, her golden eyes shimmering with triumph and adoration.

"Do you believe me now?" she whispered, her voice husky and trembling.

Y/N stared at her, his expression unreadable. Then, he chuckled softly. "You've got guts, I'll give you that." He tilted his head, studying her with a mixture of amusement and curiosity. "But this? This is dangerous, Himiko. You're playing with fire."

"Good," she replied, a wicked grin spreading across her face. "Because I like the way it burns."

He laughed, a rich, velvety sound that sent a shiver down her spine. "You're something else," he said, shaking his head. "Alright, Himiko. You've got my attention. Now what?"

"Now," she said, her grin widening, "you let me stay by your side. I'll do anything, Y/N. Anything to make you happy. Just say the word."

Y/N considered her for a moment, his expression thoughtful. There was something undeniably compelling about her—her raw passion, her unfiltered honesty, her willingness to throw herself into the abyss for him. He didn't know if it was love, but it was something.

"Well," he said finally, a sly smile curling his lips, "I suppose it wouldn't hurt to see where this goes."

Himiko's eyes lit up like the sun breaking through a storm. "You mean it?"

"Sure," he said, his tone nonchalant. "But don't think I'm an easy catch. You'll have to keep impressing me."

"Oh, I will," she promised, her voice dripping with conviction. "I'll make you love me, Y/N. I swear it."

As the snow continued to fall around them, blanketing the world in silence, Y/N found himself wondering just how far this strange, wild girl would go for him—and how far he'd let her. One thing was certain: the winter nights ahead were bound to be anything but boring.
