As requested by Antisuperstar! Male Y/N

The arena buzzed with anticipation as Minh and Connie made their way to their courtside seats. Being the wife of one of the team's star players had its perks, though Minh would have been happy to sit anywhere just to watch Y/N play. Connie clutched her program, already filled with statistics she'd been meticulously tracking throughout the season.

"Mom, do you think Y/N will break his season record tonight?" Connie asked, fixing her hair as she studied the numbers. "He only needs twenty-eight points."

Minh smiled, watching as Y/N emerged from the tunnel for warm-ups. Even after three years of marriage, her heart still fluttered when she saw him in his uniform. "Oh, he break record for sure. Your stepdad extra motivated tonight – he promise us fancy milkshakes after game!"

Y/N spotted them during his warm-up routine and jogged over, his practice jersey already showing signs of his intense preparation. "My two favourite ladies made it!" He leaned over the barrier to give Minh a quick kiss and ruffle Connie's hair that she had just fixed. "Ready to see some basketball?"

"We ready to see you crush them like bug!" Minh declared with her characteristic enthusiasm. "Connie do all math – she say you only need twenty-eight points for record."

"Actually, it's twenty-eight points, three assists, and two rebounds," Connie corrected, showing Y/N her carefully annotated program. "I've been tracking your statistics all season. Your field goal percentage is up twelve points when Mom and I attend the games."

Y/N grinned, touched by his stepdaughter's dedication. "Well then, I better put on a show, shouldn't I? Can't let my personal statistician down." He winked at Connie before turning back to Minh. "And I definitely can't disappoint my lucky charm."

"You never disappoint, tiger," Minh purred, making Connie roll her eyes good-naturedly at her mother's flirting. "Now go warm up proper. Show these people why they pay big money to see you play!"

As Y/N jogged back to join his teammates, Minh couldn't help but reflect on how different her life had become since meeting him. After her divorce from Kahn, she'd never expected to find love again, let alone with a professional athlete who treated both her and Connie with such genuine devotion.

The game began with intensity, but Y/N was clearly in rare form. By the end of the first quarter, he'd already racked up twelve points and two assists. Minh cheered louder than anyone in the arena, her voice carrying over the crowd with each spectacular play.

"Look how he move!" she exclaimed to Connie during a particularly impressive drive to the basket. "Smooth like silk! That's why I marry him – well, that and his cute butt."

"Mom!" Connie protested, though she was grinning. "But you're right about his technique. His footwork has improved significantly since last season. I've been studying the game films he brings home."

During halftime, with Y/N's team up by fifteen largely thanks to his efforts, Connie was busy updating her statistics while Minh texted him a string of heart emojis and fire symbols. She'd learned about emoji use from Connie, and now she couldn't stop – they were the perfect way to express her enthusiasm.

The second half proved even more exciting. Y/N seemed to find another gear, hitting three-pointers and making impossible passes look easy. With two minutes left in the fourth quarter, he was just two points shy of his target.

"Come on, Y/N!" Connie shouted, abandoning her usual reserved demeanour. "Two more points!"

The moment came with thirty seconds left on the clock. Y/N caught a pass on the wing, pump-faked his defender into the air, and drove baseline for a reverse layup that had the crowd on their feet. Minh jumped up and down, pulling Connie into a tight hug as the arena erupted.
