The auditorium was alive with festive energy. Twinkling fairy lights hung from the ceiling, and Christmas trees adorned with silver and gold ornaments flanked the stage. The crowd buzzed with anticipation for the evening's performances. Among them, seated close to the stage, was Y/N, her hands wrapped around a steaming cup of hot cocoa. She couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement; Jimin, her boyfriend, was the evening's star performer.

Jimin had always been magnetic on stage, his presence commanding and electric. But tonight, at the charity event that held so much meaning for both of them, Y/N knew he was bringing something extra special. His heart was as golden as his voice, and Christmas was the perfect time for him to share his warmth with the world.

As the event began, performers came and went, their renditions of Christmas classics filling the air. Y/N clapped enthusiastically after each performance, but she couldn't stop glancing at the program, waiting for Jimin's name to appear. Finally, the emcee announced him.

"And now, ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Park Jimin!"

The applause was deafening as Jimin walked out onto the stage, his smile radiant and his tailored suit catching the glow of the stage lights. Y/N felt her breath hitch. No matter how many times she saw him perform, the way he carried himself always left her in awe. He scanned the audience, his gaze softening when it found hers. He gave her a quick wink, and her cheeks warmed instantly.

"Good evening, everyone," Jimin began, his voice smooth and comforting. "I hope you're all enjoying this wonderful evening. Christmas is about giving, about love and togetherness, and I'm honoured to be here to celebrate with all of you. Now, let's have some fun!"

The opening notes of Jingle Bell Rock filled the room, and Jimin launched into a lively performance, his voice playful and sweet. The audience clapped along, and even Y/N found herself swaying to the rhythm, completely caught up in the moment. After a few more upbeat songs, he shifted gears, performing a soulful rendition of Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas that left the audience spellbound.

Then, as the applause began to fade, Jimin took a step forward, his eyes sparkling mischievously.

"Before we move on, I'd like to do something a little different," he said, his gaze settling on Y/N. "Christmas is a time for sharing joy with the people you love, and tonight, I want to share the stage with someone very special to me."

Y/N's eyes widened in surprise as murmurs spread through the crowd. She shook her head slightly, mouthing, No way. Jimin grinned, clearly unfazed.

"Y/N, come on up here," he said, holding out his hand.

The crowd erupted into cheers and encouragement as all eyes turned to her. Y/N hesitated, her heart pounding, but the look in Jimin's eyes was impossible to resist. Summoning her courage, she stood up, smoothing the hem of her dress, and made her way to the stage.

When she reached him, Jimin took her hand, his touch warm and reassuring. "You're going to be amazing," he whispered, giving her a small squeeze. Her nerves melted away, replaced by a sense of comfort that only he could provide.

As the band began to play the opening notes of Baby, It's Cold Outside, Jimin faced the crowd. "This is one of my favourite duets," he said. "And tonight, I get to sing it with the love of my life."

The audience erupted into awws and applause, but Y/N barely noticed. She was too focused on the way Jimin was looking at her, his eyes brimming with affection.

The song started, and Jimin led with his velvety voice:

"I really can't stay..."

Y/N picked up her part, her voice shaky at first but growing steadier as she went along:

"But baby, it's cold outside."

The two of them fell into an easy rhythm, their voices blending beautifully. Jimin made the performance fun, his expressions exaggerated and playful, coaxing Y/N to loosen up and enjoy the moment. By the time they reached the final lines, she was laughing, completely at ease.

As the song ended, the audience erupted into applause, many people on their feet. Jimin took a dramatic bow, pulling Y/N down with him. She laughed, her cheeks flushed, and he whispered, "You were perfect."

They exited the stage hand in hand, the warmth of the moment wrapping around them like a cosy blanket. Backstage was quieter, the hum of the crowd now a distant murmur. Y/N turned to Jimin, her heart still racing from the performance.

"I can't believe you did that," she said, half-laughing, half-scolding. "You didn't even warn me!"

Jimin grinned, leaning in to press a kiss to her temple. "I wanted it to be a surprise. And you were amazing, just like I knew you would be."

Before she could respond, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small, neatly wrapped box tied with a crimson ribbon.

"Merry Christmas, Y/N," he said, his voice soft.

Y/N blinked, her hands hovering uncertainly. "Jimin, I... I didn't get you anything yet. I was planning to, but—"

"Hey," he interrupted gently, taking her hands in his. "You don't need to get me anything. You're already the best gift I could ever ask for."

Her throat tightened at his words, her eyes stinging with unshed tears. She carefully unwrapped the box, revealing a delicate silver bracelet adorned with tiny, intricate snowflake charms.

"Jimin," she whispered, her voice trembling. "It's beautiful."

He took the bracelet from her hands and clasped it around her wrist, his fingers brushing her skin. "I saw it a few weeks ago and thought of you," he said. "I wanted you to have something special, something that would remind you how much you mean to me."

Y/N threw her arms around his neck, holding him tightly. "You're too good to me," she murmured.

Jimin pulled back just enough to look at her, his eyes soft and earnest. "You deserve the world, Y/N. And if I can give you even a fraction of that, then I'm happy."

The sound of applause from the auditorium filtered in, signalling the end of another performance. Jimin glanced toward the stage, then back at Y/N.

"I have one more song to do," he said, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "Will you wait for me?"

She nodded, her smile bright despite the tears shining in her eyes. "Always."

Jimin kissed her forehead before stepping back toward the stage, his hand lingering in hers until the last possible moment. Y/N watched him go, her heart full to bursting.

As he walked back onto the stage, Y/N returned to her seat, her fingers brushing the bracelet on her wrist. She didn't need extravagant gifts or grand gestures to know how much Jimin loved her, but moments like this made her feel like the luckiest person in the world.

And as Jimin's voice filled the room once more, carrying the magic of Christmas and the warmth of his love, Y/N couldn't stop smiling.
