Ext. Shibuya – Continuous

Eiko is pulled by Tsukasa, aggressively, through the crowded streets of Shibuya. He still has a firm grasp on her hand and Eiko has an extremely uncomfortable expression on her face. Eiko notices that the two are attracting the attention of other people and, finally, she plants her feet, firmly, into the ground, forcing the two to stop.

Tsukasa: What the fuck are you doing? I said that we're getting out of here.

Eiko Takao: C-can you just let go of my hand for a second? You're hurting me.

Tsukasa: If I let go of your hand, then what? Are you going to run away from me. Maybe, you'll run straight to that loser with the glasses and beg him to beat me up, again? Or, are you going go bitching and wining to your little friend, Makoto? Hell, why save yourself all of the trouble and just scream, 'help', right here and now? There's plenty of people around, who would be able to "save" you from me, after all.

Eiko Takao: I-I don't want to do any of that. I just want you to let go of my hand for a second. That's all. Please.

Tsukasa: Tsk.

Tsukasa lets go of Eiko's hand. Eiko begins to hold her hand that's hurting her.

Eiko Takao: I can't believe you acted like that in front of Makoto and Akira. Not only that, you insulted and made fun of them.

Tsukasa: Glasses was practically asking for it and I really was trying to get along with Makoto.

Eiko Takao: Yeah, more like you were trying to trying to flirt with her, the entire time...when I'm right fucking next to you!

Tsukasa: You're the one, who's been acting all distant, these last couple of weeks. You've kind of left me out to dry. It's really hurt my feelings. It makes me think that you aren't interested in me...or, that you aren't comfortable being around me, anymore.

Eiko Takao: Have you ever stopped to ask yourself why I've distanced myself from you, asshole?

Tsukasa looks around him; he notices that other people are beginning to stare at him and Eiko. He grits his teeth in frustration.

Tsukasa: Eh, fuck this. Talking about all of this bullshit isn't going to fix anything. If you don't want me to walk your ass home, then I'll take you up on that. Hopefully, you don't encounter any creeps, on your way home. I would hate for you to be end up as damaged goods like your friend.

Eiko Takao: Fuck you, asshole!

Eiko rushes Tsukasa and attempts to slap him but he grabs her wrist, before the slap can make contact with his face. He begins squeezing Eiko's wrist, causing her immense amounts of pain. Tsukasa's other hand begins to shake with fury. Not wanting to attract any further attention, Tsukasa stops the shaking in his other hand and releases his death grip on Eiko's hand. He scoffs at her and walks away, leaving her all alone. Not knowing what else to do, Eiko begins to cry to herself in frustration while the people around her just walk on by, choosing to mind their own business. After crying to herself for a few moments, Eiko wipes her tears with her sleeves, smearing the tears across her face and then begins to walk back to the subway station, by herself.

Int. Takeo Residence – Later

Eiko makes her way into her bedroom, after an embarrassing trip back to her house; she cried several times on her way on home, whether it was in the streets of Shibuya, the subway station, the subway train and even when she, first, entered her home. She felt relieved that her mother and father weren't home to see her crying because she didn't want to worry them. Eiko didn't want to worry anyone, for that matter, especially, Makoto, who has already been through so much. Eiko shuts her bedroom door behind her and sits on the edge of her bed, that's been made. The hand that Tsukasa had held with a death grip is still hurting Eiko. She studies the hand and notices that there are several bruises on it, now.
