Int. Mementos – Day

The date is Thursday, August 12th and The Phantom Thieves of Hearts are inside of Mementos in search of Futaba Sakura's Shadow Version. Akira has his cell phone out, trying to find out the location of Futaba Sakura's Shadow Version.

Ryuji Sakamoto: So, did everyone sleep well, last night?

Makoto and Akechi both look troubled by Ryuji's question but Yusuke answers, without hesitation.

Yusuke Kitagawa: I actually slept quite well, last night. It was a night of inspiring dreams. For example, in one of the dreams Ann was driving a space car, completely, naked while Makoto was riding on a space motorcycle, completely, naked as well. If I recall, correctly, they were part of some space gang. Oh, I believe that Morgana was a talking spaceship in the dream as well. Perhaps, what this dream is telling me is that my next painting should be space themed?

Ann Takamaki: Or, the dream could be telling you that you're a pervert.

Yusuke Kitagawa: Hm...if being someone, who is able to have such inspiring dreams, means being a pervert, then, by all means, I will be a pervert!

Morgana: Damn, that shit's deep. Almost brings a tear to my eye.

Akira interrupts the conversation.

Akira Kurusu: Uh, we have a bit of a problem.

Ryuji Sakamoto: Hm, what's the issue, Joker?

Akira Kurusu: It doesn't look like Futaba Sakura has a Shadow Version that's in Mementos.

Morgana: Well, that could mean two different things. One, that Futaba Sakura's desires aren't distorted enough to warrant her having a Shadow Version, here in Mementos or, two, that her desires are so distorted that she has an actual palace.

Goro Akechi: A palace, huh? Like the one that Kaneshiro had, I assume?

Morgana: Yeah.

Akira Kurusu: Hm, well if Futaba Sakura does have a palace, then this is going to be a bit more time-consuming than we, initially, thought.

Ryuji Sakamoto: Yeah, we're going to need to figure out the key words, infiltrate the palace, find the treasure, steal it and get the fuck out of the palace, before it falls apart.

Ann Takamaki: Wow, Skull, that was actually a pretty good summary of how we steal someone's heart. I'm impressed.

Akira Kurusu: Hm, well, let me see is she has a palace, then.

Akira types a few things on his cell phone and then speaks, directly, into the Metaverse Navigation App.

Akira Kurusu: Futaba Sakura.

After a few seconds, the Metaverse Navigation App responds to Akira.

Metaverse Navigation App: Palace found!

All of the members of The Phantom Thieves are surprised, after learning this information.

Makoto Niijima: Well, it looks like we know for sure that Futaba Sakura has a palace, now. The next step is figure out the "key words", right?

Goro Akechi: The "key words?"

Makoto Niijima: Before, we can enter someone's palace, we need to have the person's name, a location and how the person views the world around them. For example, in Kaneshiro's case, it the three "key words" were, "Junya Kaneshiro", "Bank" and "All of Shibuya."
