INSIDE THE sea train, robin looked through the glass window, reminiscing about her little time with the strawhats. in those short periods, she met different charms from the crew that drew her darkness out.
there are still a lot of things that are left uncovered in this world, she promised [name] she'll find them in time. another memory popped into her mind, making her swallow the lump in her throat.
robin screamed after being hit by a baton, the hit being so hard that she slumped on the ground.
she underestimated the circumstances and got herself caught by some marines. now she's being reprimanded.
her eyes widened when they pulled out a rope to tie her up and hand her to the high-ranked officers. the next thing she knew her vision darkened.
she woke up on [name]'s lap, the older's coat shielding her from the cold.
"ah, you're awake, that's good." the female pirate's soft voice woke her up from her drowsiness.
"what? what happened?"
"not a few months before we met and you're already being caught by the navy?"
robin didn't respond but stood up from her last position and looked around her surroundings. mouth agape when her eyes caught the marines from earlier being tied. what confused her the most is that they're not tied together.
"so robin, what do you want to do to those who assaulted you? don't worry, i'll have your back, i'll be your . . . . . . . . "
what would the female pirate feel after knowing that she chose to sacrifice her freedom for the safety of her friends? [name] would understand, she knows what it feels. . . right? she also didn't want to be a burden, right?
unfortunately for theo, you didn't go back to the warehouse, kurosei already knew you weren't going back, for the fact that you even brought your swords with you.
despite the raging waters because of the aqua laguna, along with the rough winds, you went back to the headquarters of galley-la.
there you saw iceburg sitting on the grassy grounds outside the now-destroyed headquarters, he was already patched up courtesy to his men and the strawhat's doctor.
"you alive?" you asked, standing in front of him. he looked up at you, blinking for a few seconds before tyrannosaurus, iceburg's pet, leaped towards you, happily resting on your shoulder.
"nmaa, i guess you could say i am still alive." you chuckled at his response. "that's good to hear. . . i knew you'd survive." mumbling the last part, unknowingly iceburg heard your every word, making him smile as well. "well, it's good alright."
"so what do you plan to do?" he asked watching you sit in front of him, his eyes following your every move yet he can never read you.
"there is no plan," you replied with a laugh, the male knowing it was not genuine. "we let the youngsters handle it"
"but aren't you worried? what if it didn't go the way you wanted it to go?" you smirked at him. "oh it will go my way."
iceburg felt a subtle shiver in his spine when you said those words. not because of how you said it, but because of the reality in your words. he knows, your crew knows, and anyone who knows you well knows everything will go your way if only you wanted it to.
"yeah. . . it will go your way."
while the rest of the strawhats were going around the city to find two of their members namely luffy and zoro with the help of some of the galley-la shipwrights.
unfortunately for them, the sea train had to leave leave a little early than planned, "let's leave, for five years. . . i don't regret leaving this place." lucci spoke, "though maybe, if i could have a little more time with her. . ." he mumbled to himself.
"so you're gonna stay here until morning?" iceburg asked.
you shook your head. "i have to go back in a while, one of my crew is currently at enies lobby, doing i don't know what. i came by to check your condition that's all, i mean if you died, who would check on my ship?"
iceburg shook his head in disbelief, "the audacity of you women. of course, only i could be the best shipwright for your ship."
"jokes on you, i already have a shipwright!"
"but i know it best!"
"that shipwright was your protégé!"
"and what of it?"
"i'm still the one who made it you know."
"don't care~"

how have you all been? i have been catching up on the anime and wanted to go back her to give you all a thank you for reading this book still. i will do my best to update this summer break, though i have summer classes in a few days TT
