THE DEATH OF WHITEBEARD AND FIRE FIST ACE has now been known to the world. the whitebeard pirates failed to fail ace, and their captain is dead; these kind of news spread around the world in the blink of an eye.
some cheered and celebrated, some were flabbergasted witnessing the scene, and those on the battlefield wept.
you and the rest of the whitebeard pirates couldn't do anything but watch as the scene unforl before you. gritting your teeth, you watched as blackbeard pirates covered whitebeard with a black cloth with their captain inside as well.
"what are they planning?" eyes widening, a realization hit you.
is he planning to trap the fruit?!
wiping the blood that flowed from your head before it could reach your eye, you turned your attention towards jinbei and ivankov, who were protecting the straw- hatted teen. just as you were about to go and help them a yell caught your attention.
"blackbeard has come out!!" he then activated his devil fruit, and another that he just acquired.
"get luffy out of here quick!" you ran to intercept akainu.
"you again?" as you swung your blade, the admiral leaped.
he's on a goal.. luffy's head is really what he's after!
"jinbei!" akainu was back again, throwing punches into people's bodies to burn them from the inside. you were about to jump when you realized your feet were frozen up to your thighs.
behind you was aokiji, "sorry, [name]. but i can't have you causing any more trouble." one wrong move and you could lose your feet with this.
"let me go, kuzan!" he only stared at you with a straight face.
you tore your eyes off him, and went back to watching their progress in saving luffy. he and jinbei were being carried by buggy while akainu was still on their trail. the rest of the whitebeard pirates have assembled and have come to face akainu.
you were always the one to observe fights from the sidelines, you hated it. because you see the outcome of the battle from both sides of the coin. and that coin has flipped, despite winning, killing both ace and whitebeard; they still thirst for more. the death of a comrade is nothing if it means that the enemy is having an advantage.
