you stared at his face as he formed his lip in a thin line, guilty. "this is the third time this month. i might assume you're doing this on purpose," taking the hat from him you inspected the hole.
"that's because he is doing it on purpose!" marco and thatch laughed, giving ace a teasing look.
ace turned to them with an angry look, "shut up!!"
"don't listen to them, [name]!" waving his arms dismissively, laughing awkwardly.
it was all laughter and smiles when ace's face changed, bloodied, standing right in front of you. a hole through his chest.
