Jordyn's currently at the school café for their lunchtime. However, the frown on her face, as she took a sip of her coffee, is too noticeable.

Where's Allianah, you may ask? Jordyn also wondered. They were supposedly going to have lunch together yet the older's still isn't around.

Jordyn decided to try and make herself busy by opening her phone, scrolling through social media. As she did, a message notification suddenly popped up on top of her screen.

🟢 Sydney Sevilleja

Sydney:
> San ka?

Jordyn:
> Cafe
> Bakit?

Sydney:
> Wait for me

Jordyn shrugged reading the last message and turned off her phone.

A few minutes later, Sydney arrived at the café and sat in front of Jordyn. Seeing how down the latter's face is, she decided to speak up about it.

"Oh, ba't ganyan mukha mo?" Sydney questioned.

"Wala." Matipid na sagot ni Jordyn.

"Nothing? Anong wala? Eh busangot na busangot mukha mo." Sydney pointed at Jordyn's face. "Sinong aawayin ko?"

Jordyn scoffed and almost laughed. "Tapang ah."

"Of course, I should be! Ako lang pwedeng umaway sa'yo. Naunahan pa ko ngayon ng ibang tao."

Jordyn couldn't help but chuckle at the girl in front of her's silliness.

Sydney smiled and pinched her cheek. "Ayan, tumatawa ka na. So, what happened ba? Para kang binagsakan ng langit at lupa."

"I'm surprised you know that term."

"Nung buhay pa si mommy, madalas niya akong turuan ng tagalog terms, even slangs or salitang kalye, is that what it's called? Kahit when I was in Australia. Si daddy lang naman gusto akong gawing spokening dollars."

"So that's why you're not like MJ, you know, mas madalas gumamit ng English sa pagsasalita. Minsan conyo."

"Mich's family is hella expensive. Kaya normal na talaga na puro englishera't englishero sa family nila." Sydney explained. "'Wag mo ngang ibahin usapan. Ano na? Ano ba kasing nangyari?"

Jordyn sighed. "Remember the time na na-lock tayo sa hall?"

Sydney nodded. "Mhm. Anong meron?"

"Sumabay pala kasi siya kay MJ no'n sa pag-uwi kasi akala niya nakauwi na rin tayo. Hanggang ngayon guilty pa rin siya about that. Akala ko nga okay na kasi nagha-hangout pa rin kami. Pero ever since no'n, feel ko naging distant siya sa'kin."

"Have you tried talking to her about it?" Sydney asked.

"I have pero ayun, lumalayo pa rin talaga siya. Sinabi ko naman na hindi niya kasalanan na naiwan niya ko sa hall no'n. Bakit niya pa ko kailangang iwasan?"

"Maybe you just have to reassure her. Gets ko naman nararamdaman mo. But sometimes, those things aren't easy to approach for some people. Maybe gano'n si Allianah. Siguro, natatakot siya na baka magalit ka sa kaniya o baka masaktan ka pa lalo.”

Napatingin si Jordyn kay Sydney, hoping she could at least get an answer by looking through her eyes. “Anong gagawin ko?”

Sydney smiled and placed her hand on top of Jordyn's. “Try talking to her sincerely and thoroughly. Sabihin mo kung ano ang nararamdaman mo at intindihin mo rin ang nararamdaman niya. Sometimes, all we need is a proper talk in order to solve our problems.”
