Matapos mag-exam ni Mich, she and Allianah went downstairs together and towards the parking lot, where Sydney and Jordyn are currently waiting for them.

Mabilis na sinalubong ni Sydney si Mich, congratulating her for finishing exams she missed. Si Allianah naman ay kay Jordyn lumapit.

"Congrats, you survived this sem!"

Of course, it's not Sydney if it's not unserious.

Mich chuckled at her best friend's behavior before saying, "I'm just glad that our prof is considerate."

"Siyempre naman. Alam nila kung ga'no ka ka-hardworking kaya." Sydney complimented.

"Thanks, Syd." Mich thanked her. "By the way, have you received a call from your dad already?"

Bigla namang nagbago ang ekspresyon ng mukha ni Sydney. "No, I haven't. Why?"

"Tito told me that we'll fly back to Australia this sembreak together." Mich answered. "I'm surprised you're not informed about it."

Sydney scoffed. "Alam niya sigurong 'di ko sasagutin tawag niya if ever. Good for him at kilala na niya ko, at least on that part."

Mich sighed, knowing how complicated Sydney's relationship with her father is. "So? You're gonna come with me ba?"

"May choice ba ko?" Sydney rolled her eyes. "At least let me enjoy the rest of my time while I'm still here. Magpapasama lang ako kay Jo sa mall. Diba, Jo?"

Sabay siyang tinignan nila Mich and Sydney. The latter giving her a knowing look.

Jordyn, despite being kind of forced into it, just nodded in agreement at Sydney.

"See?" Sydney proudly smirked, pointing at how Jordyn agrees with her.

Mich gave her a raised brow, suspicious of the two. But she just shrugged the thought away, knowing how Sydney can be so mischievous sometimes.

"Okay, then. Just let me know when would we pack our things for the flight."

"Okay lang naman ba sa'yo, Iya? Mapilit kasi 'tong babaeng 'to." Jordyn finally spoke.

Allianah gave her her usual smile. "Of course! I think it's time you prioritize your other friends, don't you think so?"

Jordyn gave her a questioning look. "Prioritize others? Anong ibig sabihin mo do'n?"

"You're always with me kaya, Jordy! I seriously appreciate the way you make efforts for me, like paghatid-sundo sa'kin and all. But I wanna see you hang out with other people rin, 'no? Your world doesn't require to revolve around me, you know?"

Nagulat naman si Jordyn sa sinabi ni Allianah. Why does it sound as if may gusto pang ipahiwatig sa kaniya si Iya?

"Does she know something?" Jordyn wondered, but shook her head to get rid of the thoughts.

"Correct ka diyan, Yana! Kaya tara na, Jo. Matagal ako mag-shopping sige ka." Singit ni Sydney sa kanilang dalawa, noticing how Jordyn's expression had changed after hearing Allianah's words. "Mich, masasabay mo ba si Yana?"

Mich nodded. "Mhm, I don't mind. You and JC seem to have your own plans already, so..."

"Great! I'll text you na lang 'pag pauwi na kami!" Sydney cheered.

"Alright then. Take care, you two."

"Likewise!"

Si Allianah naman ay nag-wave kay Jordyn bago sumakay sa kotse ni Mich. The latter was still stunned about what she heard from the older, so she stood there place, frozen. Not until Sydney dragged her inside the car so they could finally drove off.
