(Flashback)

"No. Nope. Nuh-uh!"

"Sige na, Gaille!"

Ngunit kahit anong pilit ni Serena sa girlfriend niya, she only gets aggressive shook of head in response, unable to persuade Gaille.

"Serena, I've already told you countless of times, 'wag kang lalabas nang mag-isa." Gaille's voice had a firm edge to it as she adjusted her glasses, her eyes scanning the notes she's written sprawled on her desk. She was in the middle of studying for an important assessment, but her attention kept drifting to Serena, who was preparing to leave their dorm room.

"And I'm most definitely not going to let you go out, knowing how a lot of guys would be eyeing you or even make a move at you."

"I was invited over! Nakakahiya namang tumanggi!" Depensa ni Serena, "Nando'n naman sina Kio and Madi eh."

"And?" Gaille raised a brow, "The guys are there, too."

"Hanggang tingin lang naman sila, Gaillee. Wala ka bang tiwala sa'kin?"

Gaille sighed, closing her textbook, her tone softening. "Of course I do... Sa mga lalaki, wala. You know how much they try and still make a move on you, despite knowing you have a girlfriend. Pa'no if I'm out of sight?"

Serena frowned, her eyebrows furrowing out of annoyance, something she had never done to Gaille before.

"I agreed na pumunta kasi you told me na sasama ka. Minsan na nga lang tayo magkaro'n ng free time, knowing how busy we are sa mga sariling program natin, tapos ano? Babawiin mo at the last minute?"

Gaille isn't liking their situation one bit. Alam niyang kaunti na lang at sa iba na patungo ang usapan nila— something that she avoids happening in their relationship.

Gaille stood firm, the crease in her brow deepening as she faced Serena. "Serena, please, can we talk about this later? I have a lot to review."

If there's one thing that Serena dislikes about Gaille, is that she tries to avoid the topic at times, lalo kapag alam niya na it would result in conflict between them. Kaso, little does the older know, it would make things worse, still leading them to the same result.

Even the small fact, but a big of a deal, that Gaille addressed her as 'Serena' and not 'Lovelle' or her sweet 'Lovee', was enough for Serena's annoyance to rise up, seemingly done with their whole conversation.

"Ayan ka na naman, eh! I know acads are important, pero sana, kung magbibitiw ka ng salita, 'yung kaya mong panindigan." Serena aggressive took her purse with her, walking pass by her girlfriend.

"L-Lovee, wait—"

"Pupunta ko, kasama ka man o hindi. Have fun with your textbooks, Gab.",

That was the last thing she heard from Serena before the door closed shut, loudly and harshly.

"Here's your coffee, Gab."

"Thanks, MJ."

Gaille found herself driving towards Mich's condo after almost an hour of being alone inside their door room, taking her textbooks and notes with her, trying to continue her study session at Mich's.
