"So... how's the exams?"

'Yan ang unang tanong na narinig ni Serena mula kay Gaille as soon as she left the classroom, looking so pale and drained. Kakatapos niya lang i-take ang huling dalawang midterm exams niya this semester.

Gaille, on the other hand, had already finished hers 30 minutes ago. She was outside Serena's classroom, patiently waiting for the younger to finish taking her exams.

"Torture!" Serena answered, clearly stressed and frustrated. "Tangina, sino ba kasing nakaisip na pagsamahin sa isang araw ang gen-math and pre-cal?!"

"They've put together specialized subjects with general mathematics on the same schedule," Gaille told her. "That is, clearly, an unlucky situation for ABM and STEM students if you're bad at math."

Serena groaned. "Thank God it's finally over then! Kung ano man maging score and grades ko, it is what it is. Bawi na lang ako sa finals. Grades are just a number..."

Gaille chuckled, listening to Serena's series of coping mechanism just to not feel bad about how she did in the exams.

"I'm sure you did your best." Gaille commented before handing over something to Serena. "Here, have some iced coffee. Sorry if half of the ice had already melted. I did bought that from the café as soon as I got out of the classroom, so..."

Serena grinned and happily took Gaille's offer. "Hala! Thank you so much, Gaille! Grabe, hulog ka talaga ng langit!"

Out of instinct, Serena gave Gaille a peck on the cheek as a thank you. The younger would often pull this off when they had just gotten 'together' kaya naman as this point, nasanay na rin si Gaille. That doesn't mean she's not flustered anymore because of it though.

"May iced coffee na, may bebe pa. You really do have everything na, Selle!" A voice was heard from behind Serena.

Both of them faced towards the direction of the owner of the voice. It was none other than Claire.

"Heyya, Gab!" Bati ni Claire kay Gaille.

Gaille showed a small smile before waving at her, giving back Claire's greetings. "Hi, Claire."

"Ano, Claire? Kamusta naman exams?" Serena asked.

"I think I did well? It wasn't easy as expected, though."

Claire's answer made Serena let out another devastated groan. "Buti ka pa confident!"

"I'm not really sure about my answers but, oh well..." Claire stated, shifting her attention towards Gaille. "By the way, Gab, once our classmates saw you by the window, the classroom got noisy from the gossips. I even heard someone saying how lucky Selle was to have you."

Serena's eyes widened at what her friend said. "Ha? Gagi, totoo ba? I must've been so preoccupied with the exams that I didn't notice!"

"Totally! It's been going on ever since Gab's solo performance last event. Ang dami na may crush sa kaniya sa class natin, and perhaps even from the other strands as well. Hindi lang siguro nila masyadong pinapaalam knowing na she's already taken by you."

Gaille couldn't believe what she was hearing either. "Really..?"

"Believe it or not, I've heard them myself saying how pretty and pogi you are. I mean, you've always been, pero siguro lumakas lang impact mo lalo because of the performance."

Gaille couldn't believe what she was hearing. She looked down out of shyness, not knowing how to react after hearing those.

Serena, on the other hand, unconsciously scoffed and said, "Ayan, kung kailan kasi taken na 'yung tao saka nano-notice. So what kung pogi si bebe?"
