TW: catcalling

---

Sunday, same day as when Madi and Kio went out, nag-set din ng hangout si Sydney para sa kanilang dalawa ni Jordyn dahil wala si Mich. She was originally going to go out with the red-head but the latter's currently outside the country right now.

So, she opt for the next person she had in mind— Jordyn.

"Nakaka-miss din 'yung gan'to. I remembered back in Australia, Mich and I used to play at their basement. Mahilig kasi mag-billiard daddy niya kaya may sarili silang pool table." Kwento ni Sydney pagkapasok nila sa isang public pool hall.

Nirentahan niya rin ang isang pool table para sa kanila ni Jordyn, para raw unli-laro.

"Before we went here in the Philippines, 'yun ka'gad unang ni-request ni Mich na ipalagay sa condo niya." Dagdag pa ni Sydney habang kumukuha siya ng cue sticks para sa kanilang dalawa.

"Really? Marunong ka palang mag-billiard?" Tanong ni Jordyn, seemingly amused by Sydney, who's currently holding a cue stick right now.

"Of course! Anong akala mo sa'kin? Kikay na paganda lang? I have the skills, too." Sydney then handed over the other cue stick to Jordyn. "Oh, eto sa'yo. Marunong ka naman diba?"

"Sakto lang? Ewan. 'Di naman ako sanay. Na-try ko lang din once nung gumala kami nila MJ."

"Ahh! Basic ka lang naman palang kalaban eh. Sige, watch and learn."

Sydney proceeds to the pool table with full confidence, aiming her stick carefully at the white ball for a good minute before she went for it.

Jordyn almost choked on her saliva as she laughed at Sydney's demonstration. "Tangina ang galing nga! You have the skills para mapatalbog 'yung bola."

"Shut up! I was just warming up!" Depensa naman ni Sydney as she flips her hair.

In her mind, Sydney wished that she should've just worn a facemask instead of sunglasses so she could hide the shame on her face right now.

"Ako na next, 'wag kang madaya." Jordyn said, leaving Sydney with no choice but to roll her eyes and stepped away so that the younger could play.

Since the balls didn't move a single bit from Sydney's shot, Jordyn aimed her shot at the cue ball in a straight line, hitting the one in the middle and scattering the balls all over the pool table.

"Wala man lang nahulog kahit isa, amputa." Jordyn cursed, stepping aside to let Sydney play again.

Since the balls are now all around the table, Sydney aimed for the one close to the pocket at the corner of the table. Her focus was sharp as she lined up her shot. She took a deep breath and struck the cue ball, sending it towards the striped ball near the pocket.

With a satisfying clink, the ball fell into the pocket. Sydney paused to comprehend what just happened before jumping up and down out of joy.

"Yes! See?! Sabi sa'yo I have the skills eh!" Sydney exclaimed, pointing her finger at Jordyn while boasting her successful shot.

"Weh? Lucky shot lang siguro."

"Oy, hindi ah! Watch me!" Sydney remarked, aiming for her next target ball to shoot

The two played until all of their respective balls went inside the pocket, leaving only the 8-ball on the pool table.

Sydney gave a competitive glance at Jordyn as she eyed the 8-ball, which was now the only ball left on the table. She wanted to secure the final shot and claim victory but her opponent, Jordyn, is just standing there. For her, it doesn't really matter if she wins or not.
