Serena and Gaille decided to settle it down after their search. Nagpasya sila na maki-hangout muna sa the rest ng mga students na nakaupo sa table nila, especially the ones they barely knew.
They've all talked about random things that made them get to know each other more.
"Lyney Sydney Avery Sevilleja. Pa'no mo napagkasya 'yon nung NAT?" Tanong ni Serena sa kaniya.
"Same thing as Madi, may name rin na pinatanggal sa'kin. Sa kaniya diba Mackenzie Diana Yasi pero tinanggal 'yung pangatlo? Sa'kin naman yung una tinanggal." Sagot ni Sydney sa kaniya.
"Akala ko nga mahaba na name ni Madi, may sasapaw pa pala." Pang-aasar ni Jordyn sa kaharap niyang si Sydney.
"Leader ka pala ng Wonder Pets eh." Dagdag pa niya.
"Linny 'yon, tanga. Lyney akin."
"Curious pa rin ako sa unique na nicknames nung iba dito." Kio initiated the topic this time.
"Ako rin, gagi. Nahiya 'yung Jo sa sobrang simple." Jordyn followed.
"I'll go first, then!" Allianah volunteered. "Iya or Yana came from my first name, Allianah. Yana came from the two last syllables of my name, while Iya is from the middle. Though, si Jordy gumawa no'n so siya lang naman madalas tumawag sa'kin ng Iya."
Jordyn bashfully looked away after listening to Allianah's explanation. "Siyempre para sa'kin lang 'yung unique." She thought, hiding her smile by drinking her cup of coffee.
"Mine's MJ, obviously from the acronym of my name, Michiela Jeanne." Mich followed after Allianah.
Sumunod namang magpaliwanag si Serena. "From Kio, Sere. From Claire, our dance troupe leader, and 'yung iba pa, Selle naman. Selle came from Serena Lovelle. Sa bahay siguro Rena or Renren."
"Serena Lovelle? That's really pretty." Allianah complimented which the rest agreed.
"How about si Gaille? Ang cutie ng name mo eh." Sydney questioned, obviously wanting to compliment the tall girl.
"Oy, nandito 'yung gf oh."
Natawa lang naman si Serena sa pag-depensa sa kanila ni Jordyn, saying na she doesn't mind and agrees that too naman na Gaille's such a cutie, which she rolled her eyes at.
"Like I told Allianah earlier, Gaille came from Gabrielle. My... father's name is Gabriel, which earned him the nickname 'Gael'. I was named next to him so sinunod din ang nickname ko sa kaniya." Paliwanag ni Gaille. "However, most of my friends calls me Gab, for certain reasons. only Serena calls me Gaille still."
Serena's eyes widened hearing Gaille's explanation. Knowing the older's status with her family, she became worried that she might've been triggering something inside Gaille yet the latter's just wasn't saying anything.
"Is it okay na Gaille pa rin itawag ko sa'yo..?" She questioned genuinely, staring deep into Gaille's eyes for her to get the message.
To her surprise, Gaille smiled and nodded. "It's fine. I don't mind."
"Yieee! You are the only exception~!" Pagkanta ni Kio kaya naman the rest of them laughed.
