As it became more visible, Rhaenys could see what was approaching Dorne. It looked like a ship from her husband's fleet, with Vermax flying above it. Secretly, she was already looking forward to seeing Corly again. Prince Qoren was also running up to Rhaenys. "Princess Rhaenys, should we be worried?" "I don't think so. It looks like Jace and Vermax have arrived with reinforcements." "Then let us meet them." Together, the two walked to the harbor, where they would meet the ship and its crew. Jace had Vermax land near Sunfyre and Meleys and then he ran to the harbor as well. Once there, he stood next to Rhaenys. "You did it." "Your letter made things a lot easier."

Corlys took his time, because it seemed so surreal to him that his Rhaenys would be waiting for him at the harbor. After he had collected himself, he made his way off the ship. When he saw Rhaenys, he became slightly emotional. Now Rhaenys and Corlys stood facing each other. Prince Qoren turned to Jace. "Let's go back and give them both the time they need." Jace and Prince Qoren walked back to the dragons, where Jace first thanked Vermax properly, and then both walked back to Sunspear.

Rhaenys and Corlys continued to look at each other without saying a word. Until Corlys broke the silence. "You're alive. My Rhaenys. I haven't lost you." Corlys pulled Rhaenys into his arms and hugged her. "You have Daenys to thank for that. She and Vermithor saved my life." "Then I'll have to do this. Where is she?" "She's not here right now, but as soon as she returns, you can thank her. Let's go to Sunspear and I'll show you around." Corlys nodded and followed Rhaenys.

Two days passed since Corlys' arrival, and Rhaenys, Jace, and Corlys stood with the dragons. "Meleys looks very well." "It took some time, but she's back to her old self. I'm so glad she's still by my side." Rhaenys looked at Jace, who was staring thoughtfully at the sky. "They'll all come back." "I know, but I'm still worried." A dragon's roar pulled the three from their conversation. But since the three dragons beside them didn't move, Rhaenys and Jace knew they posed no threat. The three looked up at the sky and saw three dragons flying toward them. "Daenys is back."

Meraxes, Silverwing, and Vermithor landed a little way from the others. Daenys climbed off Meraxes's back and walked to Rhaenys and Jace. "Hello, Lord Corlys, it's good to see you. I seem to have missed a lot." "Princess Daenys, please drop the 'Lord'. I owe you so much." Corlys bowed to the young princess. "I only did what was right. Besides, I couldn't afford to lose another member of my family." Jace and then Rhaenys took Daenys in their arms. "We should go to Sunspear so Prince Qoren and we can bring you up to speed." Daenys nodded and followed the three.

Prince Qoren was relieved that the young princess was okay. Jace, Rhaenys, and Prince Qoren updated Daenys, and Daenys was surprised at all the work that had been done while she was gone. "Daenys, were you able to accomplish anything?" "I was. Our army is considerably larger now." "This is good news." Daenys quickly excused herself, as she wanted to see one of the Masters.

Once there, she entered the room. "Princess Daenys, how may I help you?" "Someone needs to examine me and tell me if my unborn child is okay." The Master nodded and left the room.

Meanwhile, Prince Qoren, Jace, Rhaenys, and Corlys were still standing together. They were slightly worried. They wondered if Daenys was all right. They would have to wait for an answer.

In Essos, Aegon and Helaena stood side by side. Aegon had a grin on his face. "We did it, Lena. Thanks to your idea, we did it. Essos's loyalty now lies with Daenys." "I'm so glad. We will do it. Daenys will be a wonderful queen." "You had a dream about this, didn't you?" "Yes, and I'm looking forward to seeing it come true." They both turned to their dragons, and then the journey back to Dorne began.
