"This is what we are willing to offer in exchange for your partnership in this deal," I said.
Abhay had no expressions on his face, he just stared at me through the entire presentation.
"Would love to work with you Chaitra" Vishal Khanna, our new client said.
Vishal Khanna is one of the leading businessmen in India. He was also one of the top 5 handsome men in India. He has a crazy fan following on the Internet as well.
"We would love to have you work with our company" Abhay said stressing the word company.
He is jealous.
"Thank you," Vishal Khanna said and headed out.
As soon as everyone left, Abhay lifted me and made me sit on the table.
He started kissing my neck. And I was of course giggling because his beard tickled me.
I might be the only woman who giggles instead of feeling shy when she is being kissed.
"Trying to claim me?" I asked jokingly.
He immediately stopped kissing and looked into my eyes and said "No Tara, you are not an object for me to claim, you are divine. I can only dream of being in your heart. All I want is to be your love, to be your safe place, to be your home. You are mine to love but never mine to own."
Which good deed have I done to get him? I will do it in every life of mine over and over again.
I kissed him unable to hold back. We were so lost in the moment that we didn't notice someone entering.
"Oh shit! I didn't see anything. I don't have my glasses" Aditya said turning to the other side and we broke the kiss unwillingly.
"Vacation cancelled" Abhay yelled at the poor man.
"No, you can have your vacation" I retorted.
Abhay stared at me and I looked back at him.
"Fine, you can have your vacation," he said sighing.
That's right.
He cupped my face and said "Stay away from that guy. He looks shady."
"Which guy?" I forged innocence.
He gave an 'I know you know' look and left.
I was anyway planning on staying away from him. He does look like someone who would sell his kidney for a coffee.
I have an insane amount of paperwork piled up on my desk.
I miss my previous job. Would my ex-boss take me back if I quit and leave here? Probably yes, but I would sure have to listen to his endless boasting about him being the best boss.
