Aadrik's PoV

"Everything the baby needs is in the bag," Mahika said hugging Aagney.

She is going on a business trip for two days.

I and Aagney can't go with her since Aagney isn't comfortable travelling yet, he is just one. We tried taking him on a flight once but he didn't stop crying the entire time.

I put on the baby carrier.

Mahika kissed Aagney multiple times before putting him in.

She tightened the belts.

She gave me a peck on my lips and said, "Take care. Call me if something happens."

She picked up her laptop bag.

I held her hand and pulled her back.

I kissed her. Two days... I have to stay away from her for two days.

I let go of her lips but my hand were still placed on her cheeks.

I wanted to engrave her image in my mind, she looked beautiful as always.

I kissed her again.

"I love you," I said and tried to hug her tightly but my dear baby was in between.

I gave her a side hug.

She kissed me on the cheek.

"I will miss you"

"I will miss you both"

I called servants to help her with the suitcase.

I picked up the baby's bag. Aagney is coming to the office with me today.

"Nayak" I called my new security head. He was recommended by Kairav. Kali's real name is Kairav. His father changed his name to conceal his identity.

"Yes sir"

"Stay with her at all times," I told him. I am sending him with Mahika. 

We announced our marriage to the media a few weeks ago but the response wasn't what we expected. I am not planning on revealing Mahika's identity. Everyone is making bizarre assumptions about her. There have also been hate comments and I have sued every one of them.

"Yes sir"

He is good but no one can compare to Kairav.

We dropped them at the airport and went to the office.

I walked inside the building and everyone was staring at me. It was the first time I brought my baby to the office.

I already expected this. I ignored them and entered my cabin.

I unfastened the belts and took him out of the baby carrier.

I put the baby carrier on the table and held Aagney.

"Let's go on an inspection," I said. I think it is the time of the year when I inspect the functioning of each department.

Today Aagney can come on rounds with me and learn. In case he wants to take over the company from me one day, this experience will come in handy for him.

I, Aagney and my assistant Harsh went to the accounting department first.

Every employee there was hardworking. The books were clean.

Next, I was planning on paying a visit to the PR department but it was time for my meeting with board members.

I entered the room and everyone had toys and gifts in their hands.
