Side story 3

Mahika's pov

"We have some talking to do Mr Aadrik Ranawat," I said.

He was carrying Aagney in his arms. We came back from his playschool. His teacher called me today to complain about Aagney.

He hit that boy again. This is the second time he fought in school. He is just three years old and already into violence.

The last time we were called, Aadrik went alone. But this time Aagney's teacher requested my presence too.

"Why did you hit that boy, darling?" I asked Aagney in the school.

"Dad told me to hit him mumma," he whispered in my ear. Aadrik is so done in my hands today.

I glared at him after we got out of the car. He put Aagney down and started running as soon as we stepped into the house.

"Stop running Aadrik" I ran behind him.

Aagney went to Chaitra who was holding Arushi in her arms. Abhay bhai was sitting beside them.

Everyone was in the hall.

"Stop Aadrik" he still didn't stop.

"I promise I won't do it again. This is the last time lotus. Please forgive me" he ran.

"Why are you both running?" Mom asked.

"Ask your son, Mom," I said in anger.

"What did you do?" Dad questioned Aadrik.

"I did nothing. That boy wasn't even hurt badly" he tried to defend himself and his son.

How dare he?

I took a pillow and threw it at him but he successfully dodged it.

"Don't think of dodging it again. Stand still" I said picking up another pillow.

I threw it and it hit him right on his face. He didn't dodge, if he did, I would have killed him.

"Sorry," he pleaded.

I heard Aagney giggling.

"I will have a talk with you too darling. Once daddy's turn is over, we will discuss your punishment" I said and he stopped giggling.

"Mumma, I did it because Daddy told me it was okay to do it," he said in his innocent voice.

It is not the time for me to melt. I need to stick to my decision and punish them both.

"Aadrik you will give your car keys to Rishi for a month," I said.

"What? No way. Are you kidding me?" He was baffled.

"Are you telling me you won't do it?" I asked him narrowing my eyes.

"I will," he said.

He better.

"And you little mister, you will not play with Sky for a week," I said sternly and he tightly hugged Abhay bhai and cried.

It pained me to listen to his cries but I was helpless. He makes a mistake, he needs to face the consequences.

Everything is a joke for both father and son. They take nothing seriously at all. I am sick of cleaning after their mess.

I went to my room. I couldn't see him cry anymore.

I was sitting on the cushion by the window and staring at the sky.

What if he hates me because I scolded him? Did he stop crying? Should I go and check on him once?

While I was lost in my thoughts, I heard a knock on the door.

I turned my head and saw Aadrik and Aagney there.

They entered the room.

Aagney ran to me. I picked him up and put him on my lap.

"Sorry mumma. I will not hit him again." He said sniffing.

"I am sorry darling. Did I scold you a lot? Sorry mumma was mean to you" I said wiping his tears.

"Why did you hit him, baby?" I asked him again. At school, he just said Aadrik permitted him to hit but didn't tell me why he hit him.

"He was saying bad things about you and Daddy," he said.

My poor baby.

"You will complain to your teacher next time. You will not hit them" I tried to make him understand.

"Okay mumma," he said and finally smiled.

"You won't give him this stupid advice next time" I warned Aadrik.

"I am sorry lotus. This is the last. That boy said bad things about you. I would have personally hit him if he wasn't a child. Since I couldn't I told my son to do it instead of me." It is unbelievable. He still doesn't think he did anything wrong.

Our son could have gotten hurt along with that boy.

"This is the last time Aadrik," I said.

"Promise," he said and kissed my forehead.

I smiled.

"Love you lotus" he said and kissed me again.

"Love you lotus," my son said and kissed me on my forehead, the same place Aadrik kissed earlier. He imitated Aadrik.

I kissed him on the tip of his nose and said, "Love you too darling."

"She is my lotus and your mumma little boy, get this into your little brain" Aadrik said picking him up from my lap. Aadrik kissed him on his cheek and he was giggling uncontrollably.

I wish they both stay happy forever. I hope he grows up happy and healthy.

"I will call Rishi bhai and tell him to come to pick up your car," I said.

He sighed.

I know how much Rishi bhai loves his car and how much Aadrik hates it other than him and I touching his car.

"Okay," he said defeated.

I stood up to go out. I have to take Sky for a walk.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"To take Sky on a walk," I said.

"Can I come too mumma?" Aagney asked.

"You forgot about your punishment so soon darling?"

He sighed. He looks so adorable when he imitates Aadrik.
