I am very bored

I am very bored. I have nothing to do right now. I have checked all the company-related documents, and I am done with all the work.

No one is at home except Dadi for me to even talk to anyone.

Aadrik had to leave for the office to hire a new security head. Kali bhaiya found his family and went to live with them. I couldn't believe that his maternal family was none other than the Yadhuvanshi's.

Mom and Dad went to the temple. Abhay and Chaitra went on a date. Dadu went to meet his friend.

I just sat on the sofa waiting for someone to come and talk to me.

After a while, Dadi came with a pillow in her hand.

"Put this behind you" she said forwarding the pillow to me.

Wow! Miracle! She hardly ever speaks to me normally, all I hear are her taunts.

"Thank you dadi," I said.

"You need to be careful, your due date is near. Always have someone beside you and never go alone anywhere" Dadi said sitting on the sofa opposite mine.

I nodded.

"Sorry about the divorce papers" Dadi said looking at me.

"Divorce papers?" I asked.

"I and your mother were the ones who sent them to Aadrik" she said and tears threatened to fall out of my eyes.

I knew my mother was mean to me because she thought it was my mistake that cost my dad's life but what she did can not be justified. I can't believe she would do such a thing, not even in my wildest dreams.

"Why do you hate me so much Dadi?" I finally asked her the question that had been lingering in my mind since I got married.

"I don't hate you. I just don't want my grandson to make the same mistake as someone I know did" she said.

"Mistake?"

"Due to my past mistake, someone dear to me suffered a lot. I did not want the same for my grandkids, so I wanted to choose their partners" she said.

"I will never hurt him, Dadi. Don't worry" I reassured her.

"I know," she said smiling at me.

All of a sudden I felt pain in my abdomen. Seconds later my water broke.

Oh no! Didn't I have another week for the baby?

"Ahhh" I yelled in pain.

Dadi immediately stood up and rushed to my side.

"Ramu" she yelled for our driver.

"Yes mam" Ramu bhaiya came running.

"We need to go to the Hospital" she said and Ramu Bhaiya ran outside.
