"Is everything cool with you and Alistair?" Alex asked me, while I was putting my earrings in

"Huh?" I responded in confusion "what do you mean by that?"

"While I went to get our suitcases, he said something along the lines of "have fun" "

"What was his facial expressions giving when he said that to you?" I asked

"He had some smirk on his face- I'm telling you that man wants you. I recognise a man who is tempted to cheat when I see one"

"Not a cheat recognising a cheat..." I muttered

"Say swear now he's cheated!" Alex clocked on to what I said and now I'm deeping what I just said

A knock sounded through our main door and I thank the Lord himself for getting me out of a sticky situation. I was not trying to answer that assumption which was not an assumption to Alex.

"I'll get it" Alex walked out of the bathroom

"Yes you will..." I murmured

"I heard that-" Alex clocked "- And I will question you later"

It's the fact that he actually will.

Alistair actually needs to stop getting all hot and bothered when it comes to me or these allegations spewing out of Alex's mouth will never end.

Men are sloppy cheaters and Alistair is proving how sloppy he actually would be if I was to give him another chance to cheat on his wife again.

I popped my lips after applying the lip gloss to my lips, feeling as if my lips needed a bit more shine. I left the bathroom, to see that it was Mariah and Hugo entering our room.

"Girl you look so good...you better catch yourself a man tonight" Mariah complimented

"Let's hope they catch my eye" I responded back

No really. Since breaking up with Cole, no man has really caught my eye. And come to think of it, I don't think I've actually made an effort to get to know someone new because maybe I just don't care or I'm not ready. Yeah I mention how boring my life can get with no partner, but do I even have the head capacity to think about finding another new life partner as yet.

"And let's hope the finest bottle of white wine catches everyone's eyes as well" Hugo mentions

"That I won't be able to drink" Mariah uttered

"Darling don't you worry, I will buy another bottle just for you, so when you are ready to drink it, it will always be there" Hugo promised

"And that's why I love you so much" the married couple shared a cute kiss between each other

"Alright okay who's got wine glasses?" Alex broke up the moment as we all shook our head "no"

"The finest white wine but no glasses..." I shook my head

Another knock sounded

"But Alana does..." Hugo smiled, going to the door

"Forgive him, why is he inviting him here?" Mariah mumbled to me

"It's okay, we're actually cool" I reassured her

"Cool? Iman was there something more you didn't tell me?" Mariah questioned when all I could do was giggle

The couple came over to greet us.

Alistair came over to me ever so slyly, whispering in my ear "You look really good..."

"Thank you" I responded with a light smile, walking away to get myself a wine glass

"Now, what are you lads getting up to, to celebrate Dimitri's pre wedding night?" Alana started off, pouring wine into her glass

"Go to as many clubs as we can go and get shitfaced drunk" Alistair joked, as Alana side eyed him, not seeming too pleased with his answer

"Not you outliving your uni days..." I commented

"My university days, do you mean yours?" Alistair thought he ate with his comment

"Because If you want to start talking about uni days right now we can do that, I'll start-"

"Not today you won't" Hugo stopped me

Because if Hugo was not in this room right now, I would've told Alistair about himself so quickly and Mariah would have never stopped me.

Like don't bring my uni days into this when you're the main cause of why certain things turned out the way it was.

And he knows that...so he says and acts. I don't even know if this good boy look he has is a facade or he's becoming too comfortable with me.
