Iman Harriott ~We went out for dinner to celebrate Jasmine's last night of being a free woman before her wedding day...which was the beginning of the celebrations. Jasmine was able to book a private section for us to celebrate which was nice. we had private entertainment, music playing of our choice and no distractions from unwanted nosey guests.
After that, Jasmine's sister had booked a surprise visit to an Italian strip club which wasn't too far from the restaurant that we were already at. It was like those magic mike shows that they would go on down at central London at times but on steroids. Now I would've compared it to Chocolate City, but I wasn't seeing a lot of melanin like that, but it still gave.
If the men knew that we were down there throwing our money and watching men we'd never see again taking their clothes off as they give us the performance of our lives, I think they'd go mad. I know Dimitri would go ballistic over Jass, but who's to say they aren't out there letting the next girl dance on them?
Just to clarify when I say 'them', I mean Alex because last time I checked, they were all married men.
Speaking of married men and Alex, as we exited the venue, we saw them and the look on their faces, knowing we were at one of the raunchiest venues in Italy was so funny to me. They never expected it.
"So whose idea was this?" Dimitri pipped up, and I couldn't stop laughing "It was you"
"Oh please I will not take credit for somebody else's brilliant idea..." I admitted
"We could've stripped for you women instead of random Italians." Alistair protested
Oh, how I would've liked the look of that...
"But you guys didn't" Alana shut her husband down
"So if it wasn't Iman's whose was it?" Dimitri still questioned
"What, are you going to do about it when you find out whose idea it was future husband" Jazz purred at her man
"I'll deal with you after you become Mrs Mitropoulos" Dimitri teased
I can feel the sexual tension between them.
"It was me- punish her however you like Dimitri" Ciara, Jasmine's sister sarcastically said
"Ciara!" Jasmine blurted out, as she blushed
"So where are you guys planning on heading next?" Mariah asked
"The Florence" Dimitri stated
"No way we're going there too!" Jasmine responded, causing a series of confused looks from Alex
"I swear it's bad luck for the groom to celebrate his bachelor with his soon-to-be wife?" Alex spoke
"To some, it can be..." Alistair answered
"...for others, not many care" Hugo added on
"To be honest, just because we are in the same club, that doesn't mean we have to party with each other" Dimitri said "Plus we are seeing each other now. If anything happens to our marriage, I'm blaming Alistair
"Me!" Alistair spat
"Sorry friend, I had to choose someone..." Dimitri patted Alistair's shoulder as we started to move along to our next destination
***
"Guys I'm so thirsty!" Mariah shouted as we were swarmed by the loud noise of people and music
"I'll come to the bar with you to get something to drink" I offered, and we both left the other girls, reassuring them that we'd come back
"What are you thinking of getting?" I asked her, as we approached the bar
"Hmm I can't drink alcohol as yet, I don't want it to mix with my breast milk, so it's either water or a soft drink"
"Ask them if they do mocktails?" I offered
"Girl mocktails in the club?" Mariah looked at me crazy
"I don't know- girl just get whatever you want" I laughed
"What can I get you ladies?" The bartender asked
"Can I just get water please?" Mariah asked and the bartender looked at her funny "I just gave birth" Mariah cocked her brow to make sure there were no problems
While the bartender was making Mariah's water, a drink was handed to me by another bartender.
"Oh that's not mine" I stated
"This was from the gentlemen a couple of seats away from you..." The bartender explained, causing me to look down the aisle from where the gentlemen were sitting
He was fine indeed. The man was giving Massimo a 365-day kind of vibe and if I wasn't so cautious, I would've taken the drink but he might've wanted something in return and another spiking situation.
I politely declined the drink, making the bartender take it away. I saw the man that brought the drink for me give it to the next girl. Now in a way, I'm glad I didn't let my guard down and trusted my instincts.
Mariah had received her water and just as we were about to leave, Alistair came budding beside me.
"I swear you always know where to find me..."
"Let's just say you're easy to find" he responded, as I felt my body heat up
"Stalking my best friend instead of your wife Alistair" Mariah interrupted
"Nice to bump into you too Mariah" Alistair smiled with a tight lip "Can I get an Aperol Spritz please?"
"Aperol Spritz...I thought you weren't into the cocktails as much?" I asked
"I like to try new things..." was all he could say
"hmm..."
"Iman, I would like to apologise for earlier, I should have never tried to come for you like that"
I was almost about to tell him he didn't need to apologise, but then again he's still familiarising himself with that term, so he needs to keep them coming.
"That's okay, just be grateful that Hugo was there or I would've cussed you out badly"
"Oh, I know..." Alistair nodded his head
Something tells me he would've been turned on by that if I did so.
"Your Aperol Spritz Sir" The bartender presented as Alistair thanked him
"I saw a gentleman buy you a drink and you declined, as you should. But I know that you won't decline mine-" Alistair spoke into my ear, as passed the drink to me discreetly "-I don't want to disturb the rest of your night. I'll see you later Iman...Mariah." Alistair winked at me before leaving
"Iman did your ex just-"
"Yep..." I sipped on the cocktail he brought for me
Oh to be Alana right now...
