My hands started to sweat and my heart was racing way too fast. I couldn't find the perfect pace for my breathing as well and those thanks to Kevin Moon who delivered the news to me through a phone call.

After 3 days he accompanied me all the time at the hospital, why must today he couldn't make it - on the day I got to be discharged?

"You will be fine," he was still trying to assure me. "Evelyn will take you home and I'll be waiting at your house. Nothing will go wrong."

I shut my eyes tight as I released a big breath.

"She's not you, that's the thing," my free hand unknowingly balled a fist to ease the sudden anxiousness. "Imagine this, Kev... We walk out together and people can recognize her at first glance and they will find out that I'm with her. And then?"

"Ivy..." He called my name with a drag before he huffed probably in frustration. "The only reason why the doctor let you go home is because your health has improved. And that means, you will be fine..."

I almost screamed. Just a few minutes ago, I was too excited to go home but right now, I wished I could rent this hospital for the whole of my life. There was something that Kevin couldn't understand about why I needed him here.

"You said you requested to work from home just to be with me? But, why now you can't?" I threw a tantrum. "Why do you need to wait at my house instead of picking me up?"

"So that you will feel more excited to go home," his tone somehow made me imagine him - wide grin and wriggled brows. Yes, that must be it. "See you shortly, little star!"

And he hung up.

He hung up. He hung up on me!

I screamed under sealed lips and eyes tightly shut, knowing best that nothing would change no matter how much hatred and disapproval I poured over this matter. The decision had been made - I'll go home with Evelyn.

So...

"Where is she?" I turned my head towards the door, waiting for the dramatic appearance. But, none. "Good... just good. Now, I have to find you."

Taking a deep breath, I looked down at my outfit - a baby blue cardigan over the white tee and black jeans. A sweet look for a discharged patient proposed by Chanhee who insisted that I wouldn't catch much attention.

Of course, I won't - if I was with Kevin.

Mustering the small particles of courage left inside me, I put on a cap and boldly stepped out into the corridor. Voices heard instantly made my head feel dizzy but no, I had to keep composed. If I wavered, my identity would get exposed and I didn't want to imagine what would happen next.

I trailed the track to get to the elevator, hoping that I would run into Evelyn anytime soon. That girl had never gone missing, so, it piqued my interest as to why she suddenly acted up. I swore it would be my first question when I found her later.

However, little did I know, I didn't have to ask - because the answer had come to me before I could turn the corner. Standing there was my best friend who looked somewhat mad as she talked to Hong Joochan.

"Why is he here?" I peeked from behind the wall, studying the emotion clouded over them. It didn't look positive, the aura they brought was dark.

"She doesn't want to talk to you, why are you insisting?" I heard Evelyn tell the guy and she added, "And I don't think it's the best idea to keep approaching her. Especially when she relapses. So, you better go."

So, I could conclude that Evelyn was missing because she attempted to stop Joochan from coming to me.

"I don't understand..." He retaliated, smirking as he did. "I just want to visit her."
