Somehow my heart felt heavy to leave this place that I didn't know I'd fallen in love with. Not only the calmness and good view had healed a part of me but the memory and lesson I gained were exclusive.

Maybe I was hurt in the process by the hasty act of Joochan that undoubtedly would ruin my life, but, unknowingly, I'd learned something new. To always trust true love.

But, that part - Kevin should be given credit. Imagine if he had the same mindset as me - not to let the other party suffer, it must be a disaster of my life right now. Because I didn't think I could live without him.

Just watching him sleep on the seat next to me in the middle row of the car - this time, Chanhee was sitting at the front, was enough for my body system to release dopamine, healing me wholly. My fingers were itchy all over to touch his fringe. Everyone except me and Jacob were asleep - Jacob was focusing on driving, so it wouldn't be a problem for me to play a little trick on Kevin - nobody would judge.

So, I reached for his hair, tucking his fringe away from his eyes ever so carefully so as not to touch his skin. I silently giggled when I successfully did it, as if I had already won the award I was once nominated for.

"Strange..." Jacob spoke up from the driver seat, once in a while stealing glances at us from the mirror. "Kevin normally is a light sleeper. How come he sleeps so soundlessly today?"

I smiled - too bright that I could feel the dimples on my cheeks pop up.

"Have you heard this, Jacob... That, when you are closer to your loved one, you will feel sleepy," I said, eyes still on the sleeping Kevin. "Would I sound delulu if I said he's sleeping well because of me?"

"Ah... I will believe it," he chuckled, checking the next lane for any incoming car before switching lanes. "Don't you feel tired, Ivy? The journey is still long. Get some sleep."

"I'll try, but I can't promise," it was then that I broke my gaze from Kevin and turned to the other side, skimming the outer world through the window. I kept my words anyway- I shut my eyes afterwards, trying to fall into slumber.

But, I wasn't permitted to. My phone decided to ring now out of so many other times.

Silently groaning, I checked the ID, it was Sangyeon. I can't ignore the note I put next to his name in my head. So, I picked up.

"Nice timing not to let me sleep," I greeted with eyes closed, a soft chuckle accompanying. Sangyeon then sounded too rushed to deliver something, but the main point had successfully registered in my head. However, I was in denial. "What? Come again."

My eyes fluttered open as I tried to straighten my body. My voice probably was too high and had woken up everyone - groans were heard from all the crooks of the car. Kevin whipped his head in my direction almost immediately which made me doubt whether he was really sleeping earlier. For, he looked fresh as if he never slept.

"Is everything okay?" He questioned with concerned eyes; I held my palm high, asking him to wait because I really needed to focus on what Sangyeon wanted to say.

What I could conclude was that it was not good news. The whole thing I heard unknowingly made me bite my lower lip, internally screaming.

"No, Sangyeon... I don't know," I told him, getting my fury boil inside me. "I'll let you be informed."

At that, I slammed the red button rather harshly when Chanhee sparked a conversation.

"That sounds hot. What's the tea?"

My head was working on its own. In fact, I couldn't focus on what Chanhee was saying. It was too full of why with a big question mark at the end.

Taking a deep breath, I turned around to the back row where the girls were sitting - Faye was stretching while Evelyn was yawning. How clueless they looked right now but I should've known that it was all fake.

"Which one of you has texted Daisy to meet up?" I shot a glare at them both back and forth, studying their reactions in the process. Even for a brief, I already knew which one but I won't say anything. I wanted them to admit it themselves.

"Is it you?!" Faye threw a fit at Evelyn. "I didn't so it must be you!"

All eyes except for Jacob, who was driving, were on the poor girl. I watched her gulp as guilt bloomed all over her body.

"I want her to stop. I thought maybe if I could talk to her and discuss it, she would tone down," Evelyn's reason was pure; I could sense it.

But that didn't mean that I agreed with her decision. I knew I said I would never hold them back. If they wanted to go meet Daisy, I did not have any right to stop them. However, Evelyn had made a wrong decision.

"This is what she wants..." I let my head fall forward as soon as I returned to the correct posture, grabbing my hair in the process.

"What do you mean?" Kevin held my hand as to let the grasp loose.

So, I let my hair off and breathed out heavily. "She wants us to beg."

"Oh my god, Ivy!" Chanhee suddenly screamed. "What's the tea? Who called you earlier?"

The two girls from the back row were leaning forward as well, curious about the tea. I really had an urgency to peek inside the Moonlight portal through Kevin's iPad right now, but that would harm me. So, I tried to hold back as much as I could.

"Sangyeon called. Daisy has been proudly telling the world how Ivy's minion is crawling back to her and wanting to apologize," I exhaled, shutting my eyes next.

"That's not what I mean?!" And Evelyn was enraged. "Why must she spin my intention? I just told her that I want to talk so that we can come to a mutual agreement."

"This is Daisy, babe..." Faye replied, holding her fists. "We're all aware that she will spin the story."

And Jacob tried to lift the tension by saying, "Well, we boys don't know."

"Shut up!" The three of us - girls, screamed.

An abrupt silence then fell, only the sound of our breathing could be heard. Even though I didn't look back, I knew how stressful Evelyn was and that Faye was trying to cool her down. I might've looked undisturbed for a while, but please know that my head was enduring some kind of loudness that could kill me any second.

Until a touch was felt on my arm.

"So..." Kevin questioned, concernedly looking at me. "What's your plan now?"

Plan?

I breathed out. All eyes were on me. What?

"Don't look at me like that," I glared at each face. "I don't have any plan. I can't think of anything."

"How come?" Chanhee mocked with that sinister laugh. I really wanted to hit him. "You're Ivy... You always have plans."

He's asking me to kill him, didn't he?

"Be kind, Chanhee..." Jacob spoke up, stopping my intention to kill anyone. "You know that Ivy is having a hard time."

It was then that Choi Chanhee wore an unreadable expression as he stole a glance back at me. Oh, how I really want to kill him.

"I'm just wondering, does falling into a slump will make you really unproductive?" His question made me scoff, my hands unknowingly balled in fists. His curiosity was beyond my imagination, honestly. Nobody had asked me that question before.

"Hey, hey... enough," it was Kevin tapping Chanhee's shoulders- perhaps it was now his turn to stop my killing intention. He then sighed as he glanced over at me, his lips pursed. "It's fine... you don't need to come up with a plan now. We can think of one anytime later."

"Correct!" Evelyn then beamed from the back row. "You are Ivy, and thus, you will have ideas come up so randomly."

This might have sounded good, but if I needed to tell the truth - they were anticipating something from me was terrible.
