"You need to see the view from up here. It's majestic," I dragged Kevin to the rooftop when he asked me if I wanted to sneak out while everyone was having fun in the hall.

That obviously sounded fun, considering how I wanted to have a private time with him and luckily he had broken out his nonsense character. Thank God, my boyfriend had come back!

He had ditched all the accessories and also the black tuxedo, leaving him only in a piece of black shirt tucked in a pair of black slacks with the first button undone. Which, I must say made him so much attractive.

Maybe that was why I wanted to leave the hall. Perhaps I was worried if he caught people's eyes. It was already enough to let him be seen in public eyes, I hoped nothing would go wrong from here.

The rooftop.

Some things were different about this place. Maybe, while I was gone, they decorated it to be a place that all the staff could use as a healing spot or they just decorated it for the party tonight because why did they put so much effort into it? Fairy lights were hanging here and there around the dummy poles. It was more beautiful than the last time I was here.

"I told you, right?!" Enthusiastically, I beamed from the ledge, getting excited over the scenic view of the summer night. "Look at all the shining stars!"

I pointed to the darkest sky which was so full of blinking stars just to realize that the flashing light crashed over me from behind. I glanced over my shoulder, and another flash blinded my eyes.

"You know, you look exactly the same as the sky," Kevin said, reviewing the pictures he just snapped. "Your black dress is the sky and the glitters all over it are the stars. But... it's not perfect yet."

"Huh? Why?"

He then stood next to me, his camera mirroring us. "Smile..."

Another take.

"Now, it's completed," he sounded satisfied. "The moon and the star have completed the night."

I giggled. I admitted that sometimes, I really couldn't expect what had been living inside his head. His randomness had never failed to kill me with its abruptness.

We then stayed in silence. I held the railing tight as I looked up at all the stars, absorbing myself in their beauty. Meanwhile, Kevin was still busy with his phone doing something only he knew. But, little did I know, he never left me uninformed of everything he did. He showed it to me afterwards.

"You have blown up the internet tonight," he said, my eyes widening at the spam of notifications on top of the screen.

Kevin had uploaded the pictures with a witty caption which read 'If only she knows, she's shining like the stars'. Likes and comments from all his followers released like bullets from a riffle in the battleground, even I was shaking.

But, then, my tensed muscles all relaxed.

"They are bewitched to see you, obviously," I sniffled. "Not because of me."

"Huh?"

"What should I do now? Everyone is hoping to have my boyfriend as theirs. I'm worried that one day you will be famous and eventually forget me."

"That most likely will not be happening," his speech sounded more like an assurance. And when I turned my head to find his face, his soft gaze wandered over me.

Looking into his eyes somehow made me realize that his look could simply drive me to the unknown, getting lost in time. For, the galaxy he held in his orbs was always comforting, making me drown willingly.

Sometimes, it still felt like a dream. He was the moon that I'd always admired from afar. Though I would want to have him for myself, I knew at one point my wish was impossible. But, I'd never expected that he finally was mine. My spring moon.

Before I could disappear deeper, I managed to find some words to say, "How sure you are? You are still a normal human, your feelings can be changed anytime you want to."

"That's why I'm preventing it."

Kevin then turned his body facing me before he inhaled a great amount of oxygen. He looked nervous for some kind of reason, the way he bit his lower lip unknowingly made me worried as well.

"You know I couldn't lie, right?" He started. "Everything I wrote in that post was my genuine feelings. You taught me a lot and there are still some more I want to learn from you. Besides, I can't be too sure that your condition is getting better, it's too early to predict. So, I want to be by your side all the time. But, it's a bit hard considering our situation."

Our situation? What did that mean? Was it because he needed to leave again after this? That part I promised I would understand well. Because he was still a working man.

But... how this issue could be sparked?

"Ivy..." He said my name which I hummed, staring into his mellow eyes in the process. "Can I court you for the rest of my life?"

My brows furrowed, quite confused about the whole thing. What was really happening actually?

Kevin seemed to notice my daze, his eyes beckoned me to look down and I hesitatedly broke our shared glance and trailed down. Then, my breath hitched and I unknowingly took a step back, gasping.

Am I seeing it correctly?

"A... ring?" I dumbly questioned, shifting my eyes back to his face. "Are you... proposing? To me?"

He let out an airy chuckle. "Yes, Ivy... I told you right? I wouldn't be hesitating to wife you up. So... will you be the starlight in my every night?"

"Oh my god, yes!" I screamed, though all this still felt like a dream. He giggled and swiftly he slid the ring onto my finger.

"Fireworks!"

A loud scream was heard from the entrance and boom! The fireworks erupted in the sky which left me stunned for a moment. Many figures - my friends, my teammates, Sangyeon and also Joochan started crowding in, cheering and popping more fireworks.

Right there, I finally realized that they had planned everything behind my back.

"Hey..." Kevin took one step closer to me amidst all the chaos our friends caused. "Thank you for having a sturdy faith in me. I hope those 12 years are not useless for you."

I smiled and I was sure of one thing.

As the moon and the star were aligned - standing and staring at each other with a smile on each face, another chapter ended and a new page flipped open that was worth the wait.
