TIME IS AN odd thing.
It either flies by fast or feels incredibly slow.
It's also a pesky thing because you can't possibly do everything you've ever wanted to do within the time that god has given you.
That's why Five created the commission. Delores actually thinks about this a lot. Five creating the commission.
She's asked Five about it, but he hasn't created the commission, so he can't answer much about it.
But she has a theory.
Five has obsessive tendencies, which roots from his chaotic childhood, along with the trauma that has scarred him for life. The spontaneousness that came along with living in the apocalypse, along with daily missions made him crazy.
Sure, his saviors complex, and large ego he's had since the day he was born also loved the missions— but that was a different story.
Five didn't like the missions very much as he makes it seem. It scared the shit out of him, and he honestly wasn't very surprised when he read that Ben's life was taken during one.
That was also another can of worms. Ben.
Five favorited Ben and Viktor, mainly because they bugged him the least. His other siblings loved to watch someone get angry, they like to strike a nerve knowing they made some kind of effect on you— but Ben and Viktor were never like that.
They both kept to themselves and were slightly gloomy. Five mainly cared about them keeping to themselves. He could often have a normal conversation with them without wanting to fling himself off the roof of the academy.
Anyway, I'm getting off track here— back to the commission. What I'm trying to say is that Delores's theory about Five creating the commission was because of his undiagnosed OCD.
The commission is a timeless organization that takes care of the timeline. There are many different jobs that were under the umbrella of the commission.
Delores believes he can't handle the fact that everything and every timeline is so fucked that he personally made an organization to take care of the issue.
