DAYS WENT BY quick. Delores couldn't even tell you how long they had been staying in this timeline.

She ached to be home, but she loved her life in this house. She liked being able to spend her days with Five. She liked that she was free to do whatever she wanted to.

Her eyes were glued to her plate with guilt as she ate away at her sandwich and salad that Five and her wee having for lunch.

Five kept looking at her with worry and guilt glazing over his eyes, trying to justify the secret he had held for almost five months at this point.

"Delores." Five spoke up, letting out a sigh, causing her to look up at his serious expression, the greenhouse surrounding them with comfort, but awkward tension hung over the two.

"What?" she asked, setting down her fork as she gazed at him in a confused expression, her eyes watching his almost kicked puppy look.

"There's something I should tell you," he said almost hesitantly, and Delores knew he didn't hesitate.

Her heart rate immediately spiked at the seriousness in his tone, causing her to sit up straighter, "Okay." she murmured, her eyebrows furrowed.

Five shifted to grab his satchel off the ground and dug through it, before sitting down the back and holding a notebook out to Delores.

Her eyebrows furrowed as she stared at the book, "What's this?" she asked, her hand moving to take the book slowly from him, before examining the front of it.

Delores leafed through the delicate pages before Five's voice made her freeze.

"A way home." he said slowly, avoiding eye contact, and Phoenix's eyes widened as she stared at Five, "It's a cipher," he explained.

Her fingers slowly pushed open the pages, seeing scribbled notes and stains of coffee filling up the old paper.

The brunette's breathing was almost shaky at how much her heart hurt, thinking about the fact Five never told her about the way home.

"Five..." she whispered, before moving her green gaze to meet his own, "how long have you had this?" she asked, and he paused.

"I'm not exactly sure." Five said causing Delores's heart to almost audibly shatter at his words.
