THE MAP, THAT Delores found when they first got lost, was Five and Phoenix's best friend. It stuck beside them, and helped them mark off where they had been before.

Red markered 'x's scattered the lines and stops on the paper, marking that is where they had been before.

It was easy to find the strawberry house timeline, so why wasn't it easy to get home?

Delores yearned for the warmth of her mother, and the bickering with Ash. She yearned for her small café down the street from her house.

Five was collecting strawberries or something, while Delores sat on the bed in the bedroom of the house. She had her back against the backboard of the bed, as her hair dripped with water from her shower.

Her knees were up, and a sketchbook was propped up against her legs, as she wrote in it with her pen that didn't write the best- the pen she had been carrying around for years.

They had been staying at the house for a week or so at this point, and Delores felt like motivation was draining from her day by day. Just staying at the house made her not want to ever get up and go back to the subway.

It was a glimpse of what her and Five's life could be like.

"Hey." Five tapped on the doorframe with the knuckles of his index and middle finger. He could sense the melancholy that had been radiating off of her ever since they stepped back into this timeline.

Delores hummed in response, not lifting her head from the book she was scribbling her pen in. Five sighed, stepped into the room, and sat down at the edge of the bed.

"Hey." Five said again in the soft tone he only ever used with her, "You alright?" he asked and placed a hand on her knee.

Her shoulders lifted into a shrug as she continued to move the pen over the page in the book. She then finally lifted her head to look at Five after a moment.

A frown made its way onto his lips, and he tilted his head slightly at the woman, "We're not giving up hope." he assured, knowing that was the thing bugging her.

Delores sighed and chewed on her bottom lip as she looked away from Five. She closed her book and tossed it next to her on the bed.
