'A BIT LONGER' ended up turning into a lie, and the days turned to weeks quickly.

It had been around two and a half months since they had started living at the greenhouse. Delores and Five were happy for once in their complex chaotic lives.

Delores had her slippers- that Five got her from the
city- on the coffee table as she traced her pen around onto the paper of her sketchbook.

Five stepped into the house, his shoes stepping onto the wooden tile, as she stepped out of the greenhouse. Delores glanced up at Five from the couch.

"Hi." her tone was soft, as a smile began to melt over her lips, and she closed her book, taking her feet from the coffee table, and then set her pen and book onto the small table.

"Hi." Five replied back with a small sigh, a smile pulling onto his tired face, "I got you something." Five said- he had just come back from the city.

Delores furrowed her eyebrows, "You don't have to get me so many things, y'know?" she let out a small laugh, as he moved to sit next to her on the couch.

Every time Five did anything he would hand Delores something new. Obviously, Delores loved being showered in gifts, but it wasn't a necessity.

"I know." Five rolled his eyes, as he dug through the pocket of his canvas jacket, "It's not a big deal anyway." He assured as he pulled something from his pocket.

Five then reached his hand out, three different kinds of pens in his palm. A grateful look pressed against Delores's expression, as she took the pens from his hand.

"Thank you." she smiled at Five, and leaned over a press a kiss against his cheek, before looking down at the different pens.

She then smirked at him, and took his wrist, pushing up the sleeve of his jacket, lying the back of his hand onto her knee, causing him to raise a questioning eyebrow at her.

Delores opened the cap to one of the pens, setting the other two into her lap, as she moved to draw on Five's forearm. The pen traced over his skin, inking her drawing onto his lower wrist.

The woman pulled the pen from his skin and let out a small laugh as she stared down at the ink on his skin. An umbrella in a circle- that represented his old tattoo from the academy- stained his skin.
