[The Accords]

The team had been called into one of their many meeting rooms. They had all arrived only a few minutes ago, taking their seats at the table as Secretary Ross was stood infront.

Ivory and the others intently listened to the Secretary of State speak. "Five years ago I had a heart attack and dropped in the middle of my backswing." The man voiced, pretending to swing a golf club.

Blank stares filled the room. What would you expect? It obvious wasn't a good thing this man was here, and the entire team knew that.

Ivory felt like jumping up and yelling, 'just tell us why the hell you're here' or something. Lucky for Ross— Ives had a little bit of self control left in him.

"Turned out it was the best round of my life because after 13 hours of surgery and a triple bypass, I found something 40 years in the army never taught me... Perspective." Ross continued his speech with a cunning smile on his face.

"The world owes the Avengers an unpayable debt, you have fought for us, protected us, risked your lives, but while a great many people see you as heroes... there are some that would prefer the word vigilantes." He finished in a more flat tone.

Rhodey shifting in his chair uncomfortably, while Ivory sighed from the back of the room sounding more annoyed than anything.

In a way he was right. Ivory understood that, but what they did was a lot better than sitting around on their asses and doing nothing.

"What word would you use Mr. Secretary?" Natasha questioned on the spot, raising a brow in an act of defiance.

"How about dangerous." Ross bit back, his eyes landing on Ivory and Wanda making the super soldier heat up with anger.

"Here we go." Ivory groaned lowly, rolling his eyes. His words quiet enough to go unnoticed by the rest of the room.

At least that's what Ivory thought before Mr. secretary's glare was on him, "What would you call a group of US-based, enhanced individuals who routinely ignore sovereign borders and inflict their will wherever they choose and whom, frankly, seem unconcerned about what they leave behind?" Ross hounded, turning to the television and clicking the remote.

"New York." He stated as footage from the battle of Newyork played. The Hulk crashing through an entire building, concrete falling and hitting the cameraman causing the video to end.
