The time for shaking ass has come.
One of kabo's drivers loads my bags into the mini van behind us and I get inside of the Mercedes V class and we drive out of my drive way, to say I didn't expect this type of standard would be a lie, I did expect this.
The pictures she sent of the Villa are gorgeous, she booked us a beach side villa in Knysna like I had asked, I've never been there so it's going to be a very fun experience for us and also because it was too short notice for an international trip because we would have to start by applying for visas and all that jazz and we needed a vacation asap. Although it wasn't tropical like she wanted but this will suffice as long it's not back home and it has a beach, that's all that matters.
Everybody is excited and all pumped up for the trip, I told Sanele that I'd be going out for the weekend I didn't give him details just that I won't be home and I left it at that, I don't know what Keletso told her fiancé but she is here all dressed up for this trip and Stacy, Stacy is just ready to have the time of her life judging by her mood because she is on on on looking like anything but somebody's wife. She brought out her body to play and I've honestly never seen a white girl with a body like hers, she's black girl thick and she looks gorgeous.
The car stops at a rehab center and we all look at Kabo with confused stares now because she's the one with the answers when it comes to this trip.
"Is this Knysna Kabo ?"
I ask as i look around now.
"No, this is our last stop before we start our trip to Knysna, we're fetching somebody "
She emphasizes our destination.
And as soon as she says this the doors to the car open and I see Katlego wheel her suitcase over to the car and one of the drivers meets her half way taking her bag to the car behind and she walks to us.
Kabo gets out of the car and she hugs her before they all make it into the car together and we all just sit here in awkward silence this time because I do not know what to say, I didn't expect to be on a road trip with Saneles baby mama and to top it all of I've been fucking her husband since way before their divorce was even finalized and I am living in the house she was kicked out of with her son, if I wasn't living in there she probably would have had a place to live in now, it's partly my fault that she doesn't have a home now, but she also fucked my husband I need to remember that, she's the reason why things between Sanele and fell out, her coming into My life ruined the one that thing I drew strength from and she snatched an opportunity from me that i will never get back, the opportunity to give Sanele his first child seeing that we were planning on it, she took my blessing.
But that's not what I came on this trip for, I came here for a fresh start, maybe this is as fresh as it gets, and if this is so who am I to fight against the universe.
Her eyes turn shocked when they land on mine too and I look to Kabo this time because what is this, just because I said fresh start doesn't mean I don't want answers as to why she's here this is our trip and since when have they become best friends ? And why are we picking her up at a rehab center ?
"Everybody this is Katlego and Katlego this is Everybody, Katlego is going to be joining us on this trip too. Our criteria for joining in on this trip was that you needed to have like some really depressive reasons to be here except for you Keletso, and Katlego happens to have plenty of those that I won't go on about, but nonetheless...."
She says as she looks to me now almost as if she is asking for approval as she gently caresses Katlegos arm.
This is her trip she's paying I don't really have much of a say, I just hope she won't disturb me on this trip,I don't need that, I need this trip to be anything but a fail.
