Kaboentle.

"That looks like a nasty bump..."
He says as he evaluates the cars bumper and he gives it a good wiggle trying asses the damage.

"So what do we do, I mean abuti won't be exactly happy that I ruined ausi Tshegos car."

"Well I mean he's your brother so, I don't think he won't mind, right?"
He asks as he comes back to me and I shake my head at him in disagreement and I gently pull back a strand of hair from my face to behind my ear and i look at him again.

"He wouldn't mind but, I can't keep taking advantage of the fact that he won't mind because he's my brother, it doesn't work like that anymore... so we need to look for a panel beater soon so we can replace the bumper in the next hour."

At this point, I still don't speak with my brother, I've avoided him since Siya and Nkanyezi left two days ago, he's been busy at the mine so he comes back home late and i don't even get to see much of him so it's good on my side. I don't know how to feel being around him after I overheard what he said with Siya, what they did, I watched as they covered up that whole thing as those employees trying to steal from the mine, running a backdoor platinum operation at the expense of the mine, the way they even had the evidence to corroborate this story and the public ate it up until such a point where the noise settled down and everything went on like none of this happened.
Since then watching him in action like that just didn't sit right with me, he pretended to be this good person judging me for choosing Siya all those years back even cutting contact from me only to find out that he's done a lot worse that he's gone as far as doing this to innocent people, I can't look at him the same,  with Siya its different because I had expected anything from him after the affair so it didn't come as much of a shock but I needed Abuti Kghosi to be good.
Right after papa he was my hero, my super man, my savoir, I always looked up to him to his marriage and he's always been the perfect example of what I wanted In a partner, to me he could do no wrong in my eyes until that point, it changed everything for me in the men in my life, I am struggling to look at all of them the same.

So no I won't let abuti handle the bumper issue I don't want to run to him for help anymore, I won't do that.

"What time do the kids get out from school ?"
He asks as he looks his watch.

"At two, they don't have extra murals today."

"Okay, I know a guy, he can get this done within two hours atleast."

"We don't have two hours though Mo."

"We can fetch the kids take them out to buy ice cream just to pass by time and then we can fetch the car later, it's easy."
He proposes and I go quiet trying to see if this plan can actually work and to be honest it's not really a bad idea.

"That could work."
I tell him and he gives me a small nod before he takes out his keys and he hands them to me.

"You take my car and I'll drive Tshegos car, just until we get to the guy."
He says and I take his keys and I head out of the depot and I don't even bid farewell to the people at the office because they were incredibly rude when they serviced us after breaking my car at that.

As soon as I get into the car my phone vibrates inside of my bag and I look at the caller ID and it's Siya.
I answer the phone and I put it against my ear.

"Hy."
He says as soon as I answer.

"Hy."

"How are you ? Are you doing okay ?"
He asks.

"I'm okay, are the kids okay ?"

"Yeah the kids are fine, it's just... Nkanyezi keeps asking when your coming back and I don't have a response for her yet."
