I hear a knock on the door and I get up from the bed and I bolt to the door and I open up. She bolts past me and straight into the room and she takes of her head wrap and shades and she looks all over me.

I am a mess, I am bloody and half naked, barefoot and I can't belive what my eyes have come to see in these past three hours.

"Why is there blood on your clothes Khanyisa ?"
She asks as she puts her expensive hand bag on the dresser and she stares at me.

How do I begin to explain this.

"I think Siyas dead, aunti."

"What do you mean ?"

"Kabo shot him, infront of me."
I tell her and she goes quiet for what feels like forever as she takes in what I've just said.

"People get Shot all the time, I am sure he'll live."

"She Shot him more than three times, I lost count along the way, but I think he is dead."

"What did you do ? How did this happen ?"

"She came to my apartment after i knocked of work with this crazy look in her eyes with a gun and boxes of pregnancy tests and she demanded me to take them... I sent Siya an SOS message and he came to the apartment as soon as I sent the message. I falsified the results and I gave them to Kabo, I thought that with Siya there I could finally take advantage of the situation and fake being pregnant, and then she just started laughing and the next thing I know she's putting bullets through his chest... "

I tell her and she starts to rub her temple as she looks away from me.

"This was never supposed to happen."
She says as she takes her hand down and she rubs her palm before she looks at me again.

"What else does she know ?"

"I don't know aunty , i don't know how much she knows , she just showed up at my door step, and she thinks I am pregnant with her husband's child..."
I reiterate and she flaps her hand at me to stop and I go quiet again.

"But this could mean well right ? That Mandla could be eligible for the throne, the hand over is supposed to be in two days."

She's joking right ?

"Aunty we just caused a women to murder her husband, your husband's son at that and your thinking about Bhut Mandla taking the throne ?"

"Husband's die all the time Khanyisa, if I had the guts I'd had killed his father long ago too... but I have to commend her on that."

"This is your fault aunty, if you weren't so caught up in sabotaging their lives Siya wouldn't be dead right now."

"I don't care if he's dead or not."

"I care, he's a good man aunty, way better than anyman on this planet."
I tell her and she starts to laugh and she claps her hands.

"Nayi imihlolo boh... are you inlove with Siya or something, did he promise to marry you ? I know how smooth tongued those boys can be they take it from their father."
She asks and I go quiet now as I pick at the ends of my bloodied gown.

"Now you have a conscience ? Now that he's dead yet you weren't signing that same song while you sang his praises under him and welcoming all those expensive gifts, you were enjoying that girls tears wena Khanyisa don't act like you have a conscience now, you knew exactly what we were doing, you enjoyed every last bit of it."

She's not wrong.

For a slight moment I had started to see Siya for who he really is and not just a man my aunt and I had planned to sabotage his marriage. At first seducing him was hard, really really hard because he wouldn't even look my way and he had self control like no other but that didn't stop me because a part of me wanted a piece of him despite my mission.
The first time he felt guilty, he avoided my calls for weeks until he rocked up at my door step and without a word we just started kissing and we ended up fucking on my living room floor and even when i was just a slut to him he treated me with respect and so much gentleness that none of my last boyfriends had ever shown me and I found myself wanting more hence the pregnancy idea, I knew Kabo would have nothing to do once I showed up with those tests, there was no baby but I had to figure out a plan to keep him close and a baby was the plan.
