Anele.

"Wait wait wait, please repeat this... she's pregnant ?"
I ask Mandla as I close the door to my bedroom door.

What in the hell is happening ?

"Yes she's pregnant Anele, and umah is going to kill her dead I tell you, she's still in school."

"Well she's twenty four Mandla, nd doing her honors and all those, she's a grown woman."

I correct him and he gives me a side eye.

"Okay ngiyaxolisa... but Khanyisa isn't exactly a child, she's grown."

"You know what, that's not even the most of my worries,  I am worried about the fact that we don't even know the father of this baby, and now use didekile ke manje, she's here with her tail between her legs and looking desperate."

He says as he paces about in the middle of the room with this worried look on his face burning holes through my carpet.

"How did she seem when she rocked up to you ?"

"She seemed scared and you could literally see it in her eyes that she knew that she fucked up, do you know how much mah and I have pushed to put her through school, pay for her lifestyle and fund this honors degree and she brings home a baby ?"
Mandla scolds again.

I want to tell him that i did tell him not to put so much faith in this girl, she's just like her aunt and that will never change, the irony in this situation is that she's practically reliving her aunts life right now, she just got lucky and scored herself a future king.

"Okay, how's about we just calm down and just think this through and plan how we can help her through this situation you know."

I say as I lead him to sit on the auto man nd I stand besides him.

"Yeah sure, maybe you should talk to her."
He says as he looks at me and I widen my eyes at him.

"Me ?"

"Anele, If I talk to her there won't be a good outcome."
He says and i continue to stare at him for sometime before I look away.

"I'll see if I can get her to open up."
I tell him as I gently rub his back so he's atleast not as anxious.

"Thanks."
He says and I give him a slight smile.

"Don't worry about it."
I tell him and he looks away from me and he sighs.

"Why is Siya here?"
I ask and he just flaps a hand at me.

"We were together when we bumped into her."

"Since when do you and Siya hangout like that ?"
I ask and he just shakes his head.

"He said there was something important that he wanted to tell me until i received a call from Khanyisa asking me to pick her up from the bus station, after she went on for weeks ignoring my calls."
He explains and he shakes his head and he stands up again.

"I need a cold shower, this whole thing is causing me heat."
He says as he takes of his shirt now and I release a small laugh.

"This isn't funny."

He says and I laugh again.

"It kind of is, the way your so worked up."
I say and he shakes his head and he laughs with me this time.

"Please run me a shower, before I put go and lay my head under my mother's sword."
He says once again and I laugh again.

This girl did a number on him, she had too much faith in him and she disappointed him and I can't miss the hurt in his tone everytime he speaks about this.
