Slaves for a month

Luna's POV

I finish putting the dishes in the dishwasher and wash my hands when Zayn and Roxanne walk in.

Lily sits at my side, watching me do the work.

"Where'd you guys go?" I ask.

"To the beach" Roxanne replies, "I've got to shower but I'll meet you downstairs."

I expect Zayn to follow her but he doesn't.

He stays and talks to us.

"I felt I hadn't gotten you a birthday present Lil. So Luna and I made you one."

"Aww that's so sweet" Lily says, as he takes our painting off the counter.

He hands her the blue monochromatic and she lets out a little gasp.

"Oh my god! It's amazing!"

She stands up and hugs us.

"It wasn't much" I say, "I'm glad you like it though Lil."

Zayn chuckles.

"Happy late birthday Lil."

"Okay, so since neither of you wanted to watch gossip girl with me last time, I'm giving you a choice of what you want to watch" Lily says.

Roxanne rolls her eyes.

"Oh, how generous you are."

Lily holds up two movies.

"We can watch Safe Haven or Endless Love."

"That's not a choice. Both of those movies are awful" I state.

Roxanne nods in agreement.

"Sorry Lil."

Lily pouts.

"That only works on Harry" I point out.

Roxanne is on the floor looking through the stack of movies.

She returns with one having five teenagers juxtaposed on the cover.

"Let's watch the breakfast club."

I'm not complaining since I love old movies.

And this isn't going to be some crappy sap story.

I put in the disk and hand Lily the remote.

Roxanne sits on my bed considering the dog is with Lily.

Bella has jumped up on my bed before and I'm honestly so allergic to her that it's awful.

"I can't wait for charity ball" Lily squeals, "We'll have so much fun!"

"You're acting like its prom" I state.
Roxanne giggles.

"Well you know what happens after prom."

"What?" I ask.

She rolls her eyes.

"Well it won't be anything special since you and Zayn do it all the time" Lily says.

"I'm making him wait until Charity Ball before we do it again" Roxanne states.

I just sit there awkwardly because this isn't at all topic I can relate to.

I had to sleep in the room alone with Lily's nasty dog as my only company.

I realize that I deprive Louis sometimes, but that's basically the price of dating me so he'll have to suck it up and get used to it.

That's when I told Lily that I'm not going to do it with him unless we ever get married.
