The Stranger's Attraction
Aurora, trying to steady herself, responded, " Sure." though her hands fumbled slightly as she worked the coffee machine. Her usual ease seemed to falter under his intense gaze, making her acutely aware of every move she made.
Lily, sharp and perceptive as always, quickly picked up on her friend's flustered state. Sensing Aurora's interest in this mysterious stranger, she decided to dig a little deeper.
"First time here?" she asked, her tone casual but curious.
"Yeah, just moved into town," he replied, his words measured, accompanied by a small, enigmatic smile, "Name is Edwin."
Lily, with the welcoming spirit, flashed him a bright smile. "Welcome to Moonbridge, Edwin. I'm Lily." As Aurora handed him his coffee, still trying to keep her composure, Lily took the opportunity to introduce her as well. "And this is my friend, Aurora."
Edwin turned his attention fully to Aurora, his gaze softening yet still holding that mysterious edge. "Hello, nice to meet you," he said, his voice carrying a warmth that contrasted with the mystery in his eyes.
He extended his hand towards her, the gesture both polite and intentional.
The moment stretched on, both of them caught in this silent exchange, lost in each other's presence. Aurora’s heart raced, and she could feel the heat rising in her cheeks, but she couldn’t bring herself to look away. Edwin's expression was unreadable, but his intensity was undeniable, making the air between them thick with unspoken words.
Just then, the bell above the door chimed, snapping them both out of their trance. The sound of another customer entering the café brought them back to reality.
Aurora quickly withdrew her hand, realizing with a start that she had never completed the handshake.
She felt a mix of embarrassment and relief wash over her as she turned her attention to the coffee machine, hoping to regain her composure.
"You're busy," Edwin said, his voice breaking the silence that had settled between them. His tone was smooth, with a hint of something that felt almost like regret. "But if you’re free later, maybe I could ask you for some tips about the town?"
Aurora hesitated, still processing the strange pull she felt towards this man. Her mind raced as she tried to find the right response, but all that came out was a soft, uncertain, "Uh... hm."
His eyes holding hers for a moment longer than necessary before he turns and walks away, his words, "Hope we will get along," hanging in the air.
Nearby, Lily, who has been observing the exchange, nudges Aurora playfully. With a mischievous grin, she says, "Well, well. What was that about? 'Hope we will get along'? Huh?"
Aurora, taken aback and blushing with embarrassment, responds with a flustered, "Tck! Ugh!" She laughs awkwardly, but beneath her embarrassment, there's a flutter of curiosity and excitement in her chest.
There's something about Edwin that intrigues her, an almost otherworldly allure that piques her interest and leaves her feeling both unsettled and excited.
As the day wore on, Aurora found herself unable to escape thoughts of Edwin. Despite her busy schedule serving customers, chatting with people, and making plans with Lily, her mind kept returning to the enigmatic newcomer.
That evening, as Aurora left the café, she stepped outside into the cool, crisp air. The forest, dark and dense, loomed in the distance, its shadows stretching towards her like an invitation. A subtle but compelling pull tugged at her, a curious urge to explore the woods. She hesitated for a moment, her gaze fixed on the dark expanse of trees.
Shaking off the feeling, she turned and headed towards home. As she walked, her mind continued to wander.
' Moonridge is a peaceful community, but there are always mysterious happenings here, or at least that's the rumors I've heard. The town is surrounded by dense forests where it's especially advised to avoid going at night, due to wild animals.
Yet... I don’t know why, but I always feel an urge to explore these forests. I know it’s reckless, but ever since I moved here on the first day, I’ve felt drawn to these woods. At first, I thought it was just my love for nature, but gradually, I’ve developed a particular interest in exploring these forests.
Strange!
Anyway, right now I shouldn't be thinking about all this. My mind should be off the forest and directly on that new stranger.
Suddenly she said, "Oh! He was so handsome! Absolutely picture-perfect! Tall, handsome, broad shoulders, blue eyes—ahhh! What more could a girl want?"
' One minute, that’s true!
What more could a girl want? So I’m sure many girls must have fallen for him before me! And he might even have a girlfriend, right?
Tck! I hope not! '
With these thoughts, her day came to an end.

" Ahhh! "
" Um..."
Aurora finds herself in a dimly lit room where the only source of light is a soft, glowing lamp. Aurora herself is seated in the center of the room, almost reclining in a large, plush armchair. The chair is deeply cushioned, enveloping her in its softness.
Above her, a figure is positioned on a raised platform or perhaps standing over her, their form partially shrouded in darkness.
The figure gently grasps Aurora's chin, tilting her face upwards, and in a deep, resonant voice, says, "You wouldn’t believe how long I’ve been waiting for you."
The room's warm light highlights the figure's intense gaze and the gravity of their words, creating an atmosphere of both intrigue and unease. Aurora's heart races as the mysterious figure's touch sends a shiver down her spine, leaving her in a mix of curiosity and apprehension.
' Who is this? And this... is a man's voice, ... what is he saying? What is happening?! '
The man continues to unfasten a button on Aurora's pajama top and starts kissing her neck. His lips move slowly, trailing down to her collarbone, where he alternates between kissing and licking. Aurora responds with soft moans of pleasure, her body reacting to his touch.
" Ummm ~ "
As the man gazes into her eyes, Aurora still can't see his face clearly, but she can make out his shimmering icy blue eyes. They are filled with a deep, intense desire that makes her feel as though he might consume her entirely.
Just as the man's lips are about to meet hers,
" Ahhhh!"
Aurora is suddenly jolted awake, sitting up in bed with a gasp. She looks around, realizing with a mix of relief and embarrassment that it was all just a dream.
"Oh! So it was all just a dream!" she exclaims, feeling a sense of relief at the strange and vivid dream she just experienced.
